My ex (utter tosser) boss got France in the works sweepstake. And my favourite ex coworker got Croatia. So Kante or not, I really want Croatia to win. Unlikely though. Plus - Modric reminds me of Cruyff.

All this hype about Mbappe, he’s only turned up in one game. Exciting talent maybe but I wish pundits would reel it in, he’s not Messi or Ronaldo yet and likely never will be.

 

There’s been a lot to like about this World Cup, they need to just be honest though and accept we haven’t seen a consistently great player or team over the 7 rounds.
