I think he did well on his debut, despite the fact that it was a pre-season game mainly used to practice the short-passing system and getting folks back to business and up to full fitness again.

 

Couple of fine reflexes, calm, collected.

I like the fact that he's 6ft 3 inches. He should be able to collect the ball in the box without too much trouble.

I also read he had 13 clean sheets while on loan for a while at Aberdeen.

We have a pretty good pedigree of picking young keepers, let's hope Danny is another.

We had a history of bringing young keepers through. Banks, Stilton, Wallington.

Most of our keepers signed have been poor with the odd mature exception ie Walker, Keller. Flowers but hardly young.

I know keepers play in to their 30s but 25 still is not that young.

Kasper is possibly the only decent young keeper we have signed.

How to tell someone has never played in goal: they expect goalkeepers to save one-on-ones. How about we criticise the defenders that allowed a basic ruin through on goal after 4 minutes?
