They are agency staff dealt with by compass on minimum wage, they couldn't care less. Blame the club for using compass.

Is all the catering done under 1 contract with Compass? Any idea how long there is left on it? Balti pies aside, everything they sell is absolute dross- it was bad 10 years ago and the food & drink culture in this country has exploded since then.

Surely the owners will be looking to raise the bar at some point soon, especially with the expansion plans.

What are people under the age of 18 (i.e. without a debit/credit card) supposed to do?

Any danger of them pouring some pints in preparation for half time? Every other week they look baffled when a load of people come down and order a pint.

Every German stadium uses specific cards that you top up at little kiosks around the ground. So much easier.

It's good for home fans but terrible for away fans when you load a bunch of cash onto it and then don't spend it. I've still got about €10 on a card I got at the Allianz season before last lol

Decent suggestion but I guess contactless card is the same principle and saves as much time

My grandchildren twins have them and they're not even 12 yet.

I believe so, including all the hospitality boxes, bars etc. There was talk of trying to get rid of them end of last year. The amount of complaints about them, not just by fans but lcfc staff such as housekeeping is ridiculous. They have a contract though so it's hard, but I am not aware how long is remaining.

All the bar staff are zero-hour agency staff on minimum wage, mostly from the 2 unis, work 1 day a week for a few hours for half the year and get little money in return. The staff turn over is so massive, compass don't really train anyone, or look for people only with experience. It's not really the workers fault. Lcfc took the cheap route so they don't have to deal with everything.

Fair enough chaps! Think I was about 15, god knows what I'd have done with one when I was 12 with access to the internet.

The way I read it was that if the majority of tills are cashless they would be grouped so where for example an area has five queues, four may be cashless for contactless cards, the other one cash.

Hopefully these colour coded signs will be displayed prominently and high up, not at a position where you only see them when it's your turn and you realise you've spent 15 minutes in the wrong queue. If logically they make that the furthest left or right one, it will be simple enough for even the drunkest amongst us to get their heads around after six or seven games or so.

Pleased to read the "You spoke, we listened, we acted" bit and can't wait for the introduction of efficient staff speedily selling me value for money items.

But I happen to LIKE missing the first 5 minutes of the second half!

Cash only please, if the second half of last season is anything to go by.

Maybe they could start by having some sort of system where someone pre-pours the beers and someone else takes the cash / card payment instead of one ****ing zombie longing it out over every little ****ing job.

You can't employ people on minimum wage to pour drinks and serve food and not have someone with at least a single ****ing brain cell leading the operation.

It's like day of the ****ing dead behind those tills.

Same across most of Europe. I've got some money left on a card from PSV and it won't even work next season if I go. :nigel: I wouldn't mind but it was ****ing freezing and I actually brought 4 hot chocolate at half time ( I know hang me now) but it was the only thing that we considered unlikely to stick to out hands.
