Also, consider this, what the **** did Fred, Rashford, Lukaku, Sanchez, etc do in the game?

Fred fouled everyone and should have been sent off, Rashford kept running into trouble and losing the ball, Lukaku missed a setter and that was all he did and Sanchez was similar to Rashford but hit the deck more when losing the ball...

Good performance but lost. Should’ve been a draw etc. Every post match interview from Puel since the new manager bounce. Not convinced myself and At home under Puel we’re been shocking. Pass pass pass lose.

Very encouraging performance. Lots of positives, but a significant section of our fan base would sooner us fail because of their personal dislike of puel. Very sad be careful what you wish for.

Apparently last year he scored a PL record 8 times in games we lost. Saw that before the game.

Yeah; he needs to stop doing that and just only score winning goals.

Pleasantly surprised.

We moved the ball with purpose at times and the link up between the spice boys was borderline ridiculous as times.

Vardys goal was actually great improvisation.

Gray, Chilly, Maddison, Ricardo were the stand outs for me.

Amartey & Morgan both made silly mistakes that led to both goals.

Fred is a dirty willy puller and Sky Sports are *****.

Puel in and we’ll finish top 8.

I think people are getting ‘good performance’ mixed up with ‘had a lot of the ball’. I can’t believe people are still bothered about passing the ball around a lot in this day and age.

It was uninspiring stuff. The 2nd half was extremely boring. These tactics do not work.

what drove me mad is that just like the end of last season, chillwell has alot of ball and he delays and delays before crossing to no-one at all.  Ricardo put the earl ball in diagonally while defenders are still back tracking and unable to attack the ball and it got a goal and a volley chance for vardy that was a few inches too high for him to get over.  I like chillwell... but he has to change or we are squandering the possession - there is no product in crossing in to a box with 6'4'' defenders who are ready to attack it.

so what is the take away?

madison and ricardo did really well.

silva is anonymous in the pl - look at the athletic strength of pogba and fred... wilf has it... but silva ran all over and yet contributed little. (I expect Ibora and ndidi to be our cms)

Ghezel look like he has the right first touch - he will push diabate and grey - grey in particular needs to be striving for a better level... - right now I would play diabate and ghezel

I like amarty - but I am not sure he is even a head of simpson

Nacho as a lone striker was Ok and might be more effective against poorer opposition - but I wish we had a better alternative to vardy

Wes has a reasonable game - so having two new CBs mean we should have a much better defence this year - I hope they get the set piece defending sorted.

Chilwell need to sit and watch how his effort led to no end product and to sort out his decisionmaking - he is a great players - but he needs to address this asap

Puel need sot sort out his best 11 quickly so that we get some consistancy - the next 10 games are key for his survival

From the ground it looked like he just got brushed off. Lightweight

Hardly a lightweight.

This is the problem isnt it ,what constitutes 'brushed off' watching the replay Bailly running alongside Nacho clearly puts his leg right across the path of Nacho nowhere near the ball and brings him down, if a penalty had been given there would have been no grounds for complaint . Some are given some are not.

Pretty much exactly what I was about to post.

Defintely can’t be disheartened with that - thought we played really well.

I agree we were great for an hour, but my concern is if Vardy gets injured where are the goals coming from, because that kid from Man City is just not good enough, gets his feet mixed up all the time and has no footballing brain in my opinion.

Was Maddison knackered because hed been outstanding for an hour, the portugese lad was great as well, even bigger game next Saturday, if Wolves rock up and beat us, I think the Manager has about three more marches to turn it around, break the bank for Rafa???

its never a penalty in a million years , the lad is lightweight and frankly not good enough.

Grey worked his arse off! Hardest working performance we've seen from him.

yes - that was a hardworking performance - I really think grey has to kick on ... I hope he continues

Very good performance from us, draw would have been the fair result but if any team deserved a 2-1 win it was Leicester.

Manchester United are a complete and utter joke and they'll win **** all playing such shit football. At home to little Leicester and they were so lucky to win.

We played much the better football between the boxes, we just need that cut throat cutting edge in the final third.

Text conversation between me and Utd supporting friend :

(Him) Did you enjoy the drubbing?

(Me) Your team is an embarrassment

(Him) Who won?

(Me) Result merchant (and he's a seriously good card player, so he knows exactly what that means)

Silence.

Demarai Gray looked like he had a point to prove. He worked bloody hard all game and was a big threat.

Not forgetting a superb tackle to deny Man U a clear run on goal, and chasing back to deny Rashford a chance to cross.

Very pleased with Chilwell and Ricardo too.

Maddison didn’t look out of place and although it confused me when he went off, he’ll have a big role to play this season.

As last season plenty of possession little to show for it. Not convinced by Puel. Just like I said it would end in tears when Ranieri was appointed and I was proved right in the end.

Lost because of idiotic moments of madness in defence and two magnificent saves from De Gea.

You simply can't raise your hands in the penalty area and hope to get away with it and what were we doing to allow Shaw his first senior goal?

We really need to beat Wolves next week.
