Think we deserved a draw. No way we get the same decision that utd got on first half for peno.  Not bitter, just can't wait to watch mariner give that same decision at KP. As we all understand that the next decision will not happen at our home. Hope they challenge 3rd behind the top two but can't see it.

We looked alright tbf. Lacked a bit of conviction going forward but plenty to be happy about. Not really sure about the RB decision given the players that were available. Pereira looks pretty decent and he should have started there with Albrighton further up in hindsight.

We played some really good football. Maddison, Periera, Gray and Chilwell all stood out for me which bodes well for the future. We shot ourselves in the foot early on, but you have to be encouraged by us going to Old Trafford and being the team that took the initiative. Thought Ghezzal looked pretty tidy when he came on. I thought we just lacked a bit of a punch, but more positives than negatives in terms of the performance

Pereira looked great going forward but so so defensively. With the obvious absence of a proper right back, surely it’s another reason to go 3at the back...

A classic case of the best team not always winning. We played some excellent football for much of the game, high tempo, pressing all over the pitch and looking like a side with real quality and potential....but much still to work on, especially the quality of the passing and crosses in the final third. The defence needs sorting but let's see what we look like when Evans and Maguire form a partnership and maybe move Ricardo to right back.

He was at fault in the first half for Sanchez heading over, also for lakaku’s effort second half. Both of which could/should have been goals on another day. Not to mention his terrible ball playing ability.

Sanchez was offside to be fair to Wes, but the Lukaku one yes, especially as it drew Harry to the ball leaving more space and time for Lukaku, but thought generally one of Morgan’s better displays in recent times

Why can't refs give opposition teams penalties at old Trafford, nacho was blatantly brought down in the box

From the ground it looked like he just got brushed off. Lightweight

Pretty positive, there’s a good team there but I’ve thought that for ages.

Morgan was a bit iffy and in general we’ve got to cut out the random brain fades that happen in our own half. Wilf was doing it as well, just suddenly slots a ball straight to them. But they did really well to recover from that start and have the confidence to dominate the game.

Also think we need to work out what we’re doing when we get the ball wide. Chilwell was great but not sure the point of him whipping the ball into the back post cos we just don’t have anyone to get on the end of it. They dealt with every cross pretty easily.

Can I just get this confirmed... did any of our crosses bar the last corner which Kasper headered, actually hit a leicester player?

I cant remember one other than that.

Maybe one of the subs got hit by Chilwell overhitting every one?

You said it shows we should have won. No it doesn't show that, it shows that we were expected to score more goals than them. And then once put into the context of the game, you see that 1.23 of out xG came after 91 minutes when we were out of the game. Surely you don't just blindly follow stats without any thought of why they are what they are. Just like when people say oh but we had 25 shots so we should have won but 23 of them were 35 yard pot luck shots. Or Brendan Rodgers/Spurs fans saying but we had lots of possession.

Still think we were by far the more fluent, progressive side, despite gifting them a goal start after a minute. All the more impressive considering we were away at Man U with a side containing 8 players 25 and under.

Agree. They won every header in their box. Is this down to poor delivery or the fact we have a real dearth of tall players?

Going to have to put this one behind us.

So frustrating because the game completely changed after the penalty (which was a pen.)

Did think we dominated the game and looked the better side for the majority of the 90 but then again, United may well have changed to sit back after their first goal and invite on the pressure.

Away at the top 6 are always free games though - don't expect to get any points and if you do it's a bonus! Thought we played well tonight on the whole, looks good for the season upcoming.

A draw would have been fair.Really promising.

I think Ihenacho will be on the bench next week

He probably will but his build up play I think is pretty good and his ball control better than Vardy's

Watched the game with a man u fan who did nothing but complain.

Told him at the start of the game that I've seen this game a million times before and it goes Leicester play pretty well but end up losing somehow.

But he still moaned at his side.

Where as I'm actually pretty pleased with what I saw, I reckon there's a pretty good team there.

Every year we all see it , and each year we all hope.

I've had to much cider.

Totally agree. Also we are very good at winning the ball back when we had no right to. Both Ihanacho and Maddison did that well tonight
