People like to make that excuse that players don't need rest or European travel doesn't effect players but after it happens it's always the excuse they were tired. Every New Year's day game gets the same excuse that the players were tired. Fatigue is a real thing that should be treated proactively, yet the mass majority of fans have amnesia until it becomes an excuse for a poor performance.

It's called the 3rd round of the FA Cup.
