Refs are always the reason we lose. I say we start a petition to have no ref at any Leicester game ever again.

Let's do what Serena Williams did; call him a liar, a cheat and sexist

Ref wasn't great. First one should have been the pen, 2nd was ball to hand. Maguire should have been sent off, Morgan doubtful imo.

Pawson is useless, refs make mistakes but you cant make the next decision based on the mistake from the last decision. Very inconsistent did not give the penalty against Ricardo so give the very dubious handball then gives Morgan the first yellow because he did not send off Maguire and the second is soft. Could have sent off Maguire and also sent off Gosling and Smith

Argh - but he plays for England so won't get sent off!

;)

Bournemouth do seem to be involved in a lot of games when penalties and red cards are/could be given.

Having seen John Moss and Mike Dean not sure they look fit enough really to keep up with play.

Why do we have to have English referees refereeing our domestic league?

The Premier League is the richest league in the world so why can't we go and pay for best referees in the world?

It's always the same names popping up ruining games again and again. Moss, Dean, Pawson, Taylor... yet rarely do you hear about Oliver having a nightmare and you rarely used to hear that Webb and Clattenburg had ruined a game.

Have you ever noticed when someone like Moss drops a clanger there's usually another one or two big calls he's got wrong in the same game as well. It's almost like their control of the overall occasion and the little ones lead up to these game changing situations which they then also get wrong to compound their errors.

Stuff this supporting the development of English refs, they've been ruining games for too long now. Let's just pay for the very best and put the money of the Premier League into training and retaining them.

People saying you don't see these threads when we win, yet do you think the ref had a bad game in our first 3 games? 2 wins and a loss? I thought the refereeing was good (I dare even say jon moss at Southampton was very consistent)

But pawson today was dreadful, even Bournemouth fans (who won) say he was poor

Ask yourselves this - have you ever seen Craig Pawson have a good game, even when reffing a game that doesn't have Leicester in? I haven't. He's appalling. Nowhere close to the level of refs like Michael Oliver, or Clattenberg before he left. He's not even on the same level as Mike Jones, or Roger East.

Just look at some of the fouls that Bournemouth got away with without bookings today, compared to what Morgan got sent off for. Brooks scythed through Chillwell and got none of the ball, not booked. The left back smashed Maddison after a cross went in and he gave nothing. Any 50-50 was given to Bournemouth, they were given a lot more scope to be physical than our players were, standard Pawson shite reffing. Then his decisions of course lead to him losing control, giving Maguire a booking too early when he shouldn't have, making a rod for his own back later when of course Wilson and co started lobbing themselves to ground and appealing for everything, he doesn't send Maguire off when he could of, home crowd all over his back, and he's lost control after about 20 minutes. Just doesn't happen to a competent ref. So he tries to "fix" his mistake, by sending off Morgan when it's not even a foul (first booking was highly dubious as well, push by King, shirt grab by Morgan, King pulls back Morgan - result, Morgan booked, even though initial foul was by King, and at worst its just 6 of one, half a dozen of the other, no need to book anyone).

Bournemouth fans say he was bad for them, so was he poor for both sides ?

If thats what both of their fans said then fair enough.

Just to give this some context there was a VAR trial during our game and the other 3pm kick offs and they confirmed not a single decision during the game would have been overturned as none of them were ‘clear and obvious errors’.
