albrighton is underrated and i never understood why mendy and ndidi both started anyway.

Albrighton can't score to save his life and isn't comfortable with the ball. For a football based on possession he simply doesn't fit.

The thing is, individually many of the swaps have been called for on this forum. It’s just baffling that they have all happened on the same day.

It can be taken either way by the players dropped, a kick up the backside or they will sulk.

It shows that the manager has faith in the whole squad which can galvanize the team like with pep. But we all know it’s gojng to be a shit storm if we don’t win

He is great and turning infield and playing diagonal balls behind the centre halves for our quick England International Striker...…...oh hang on...….doh

The manager is clueless

well i've never seen him as a goal scorer. just a guy who works his nuts off and can deliver a good cross. on his day and he can be very useful imo.

Of course, but still no guaranteed starter. Plowing through the field isn't enough.

he has brought in two players that can pass in Iborra and Ghezzal but then left Nididi and Albrighton who can't when he has Mendy and Ricardo who can … lol

I would have gone Ricardo Iborra Mendy Ghezzal in the midfield if we are lumping out the changes

You think Albrighton can’t pass?!? Sorry what?

Thats his best feature surely?

Scored our first champions league goal. A moment I will never forget.

Ghezzal seems to make the least sense, the others I can understand and aren't too unbelievable really. I think we needed a better passer alongside Wilf/Mendy and Soyuncu has to have his go at some stage.

What you say is true. I feel like this place is toxic already, though.

I really like Albrighton but think he’s looked (unsurprisingly) rather rusty during his brief appearances recently.

crossing is his best feature, I mean threading passes through spaces that is going to open up the opposition.

What's ****ing infuriating is that if we hadn't decided to sit back after one goal against Arsenal we'd have probably dicked them. Why on earth do we need wholesale changes? That team looked great at the start of the match. He's the one that ****ed it up.

Not sure we would have. If the penalty appeal is given and we have a man advantage yeah, but second half they were just unstoppable in a way Arsenal haven't been for years. Thought they might struggle adapting to life after Wenger but I was wrong on that, clear now he well overstayed his welcome
