Wolves fans here in peace, been reading this thread all night, can't do anything but send on my best wishes.

 

At a time when I'd fell out of love with football, Leicester restored my faith, you gave everyone reason to dream again, for that the football world will always be grateful. That football world stands with you now.

As hard as it may be, especially for you guys closer to the club I think we just need to wait for some official announcement. It is taking a strangely long time for that but I’m sure there’s good reason. 

Let’s show the world that often looks down on English surport what we really are and what it means to us. 

I’m sure the ground will soon be an unbelievable beacon of couloirs and tributes from all clubs as well as your own.

Massive loss for Leicester City fans, football club and the Leicester community. From all accounts, Vichai seemed the perfect man to be heading a football club and you were lucky to have him as an owner. Would be fair to say that he had a significant role in the biggest sporting miracle ever witnessed and for that, not only Leicester fans, but the whole football community are poorer off if worst comes to worst.

 

I'm still holding out hope that we get the best news. The Leicester football community is in my thoughts and prayers.

I don't think an owner has even been held in such high regard as our owners are with Leicester fans. 

It just feels like a close loved one has been lost, I live and breathe Leicester city and grown up with it and I've never loved the club more than I have these days and this awful news has really hit me hard now.

i live in Thailand, and have not slept since 4am when i found out the news.

 

news reports here are saying Vichai and his brother have both died.

As a QPR fan I admired Vichai from afar in the season before you won the league in the last game of the 2014-2015 season you thrashed us 5-1.

 

But that wasn’t the story that day the story was the owner bought each and everyone of you a free beer to thank you all.

 

Its these traits which set Vichai apart from other owners. He never seeked praise he went about his business both on and off the pitch in a very dignified manner even donating to local schools & causes.

 

My thoughts are with everyone on board the helicopter as  the football world rightly comes together as one.

Feel like I had to sign up to post a message. This hurts and I dont even support Leicester so I can't imagine how this is for all of you. Vichai truly worked wonders for your city and club, and what you all achieved together in 2016 will probably never be matched.

 

It is clear the man absolutely adored everything about Leicester City . I will be crossing my fingers and really hoping for a positive outcome. Miracles do happen sometimes. Times like this its nice to see all fans united. It's only a game at the end of the day.

Woke up after barely sleeping much. Get a text from my neighbour (who's a pilot) who says his mate was the pilot last night on the helicopter and mate's girlfriend was on as well. He's not heard anything since 8pm last night when they last posted their status

 

Still feel sick and anxious about waiting for official confirmation for anyone on board, but also not wanting to know at the same time

Exeter fan here - thoughts are with all at Leicester City Football Club. Shocking thing to have happened especially with it being just outside the ground. We have had our fair share of tragedy losing local lad and no.9 Adam Stansfield in 2010. Hoping it all turns out positively still. It’s times like this where you really realise the power of a football club and it’s unique ability to unite a community.

This news feels so deeply connected. We win and lose together. Today we reflect and appreciate together.

 

Never has news about someone I've never met affected me so much. Just woken up feeling hollow.

 

Whilst this purely puts football in perspective, it shows it is more than just a game. Within a club it's a family; across the world it's a community.

Vichai, Top and family orchestrated, with Claudio, a virtual miracle I never expected to see in my lifetime - a magical ride, you made us smile like we had never smiled before, and when your smiling  the whole world smiled with us,  thank you Vichai. Our thoughts are with the families of all those who died last night.
