Interesting to see if we go full strength given the game on Tuesday.

Would be happy if he played the ressies today and prioritizes the cup personally.

Agreed. We should be going all out to win a cup. We are likely to finish anywhere between 8th and 13th in the league without relegation being a concern.

Let's do our utmost to try and win the League Cup or FA Cup for Vichai.

I'll be livid if Puel picks an understrength side on Tuesday like he did last season in the same fixture.

Would take a point from this.

Palace last season must have been the worst home and away days of last season by a mile.

With a stronger team out we should be more of a threat. Would be thrilled with a 1-0 win like March 2016 especially with a grueling run of games looming.

He was the most taken on full backs the year after we won the league.

Have you ever watched Moreno play? You are talking about Alberto Moreno, the Liverpool left back right? The one who couldn't get in the team when there was no other fit left backs, and they played James Milner instead? lol

Personally don't rate Baines and never have, and he's 2 years older than Fuchs.

"He was the most taken on full back the year after we won the league" - bit of a negative spin on his qualities don't you think? After all, you said it yourself, we won the league, and Fuchs was a massive part of that.

How many 'second choice' left backs have won the premier league? Reached the champions league quarter finals? Captained their Country? Scored against Real Madrid on their own patch? Not many.

Yeah, you could argue Man City, Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea may potentially have better options but that's still enough to class him as one of the best in the league.
