The Doctor Posted 15 December 2018 Posted 15 December 2018 Playing too slowly and ponderously. Which means not listening to the manager, given he's as angry on the sidelines as we are in the stands.
FLAN Posted 15 December 2018 Posted 15 December 2018 If they aren’t doing as the manager says why are they in the team?
matty98 Posted 15 December 2018 Posted 15 December 2018 They're not putting the effort in until we go behind
Izzy Posted 15 December 2018 Posted 15 December 2018 Can't keep hold of the ball and can't string two passes together. Apart from that...
jayfox26 Posted 15 December 2018 Posted 15 December 2018 in some cases, not all, just simply not being good enough to be a premier league footballer. We do have some dross in our squad!
urban.spaceman Posted 15 December 2018 Posted 15 December 2018 Ponderous, poor decision making, no tempo, no intensity, no quality
LCCFox96 Posted 15 December 2018 Posted 15 December 2018 A lot of the basics - our play is littered with errors and defensive mistakes. Looking at three of the last four goals we've conceded: Milivojevic not closed down and allowed time, Alli goal game from a fvcking shocking kick out from Schmeichel (saw a few again today) and the Kamara goal came from Soyuncu going to ground when a he didn't need to. Singling out individuals isn't right but collectively we make far too many mistakes and get punished. Also our passing accuracy over basic 5-10 yard passes leaves a lot to be desired.
coolhandfox Posted 15 December 2018 Posted 15 December 2018 We need some quality season pro's, squad is as good as some on here think
BeardyFox Posted 15 December 2018 Posted 15 December 2018 Finding a yard or two of space, instead of turning and going forwards or bringing in other players they inexplicably smash it back to Wes to lump forwards.

Beechey Posted 15 December 2018 Posted 15 December 2018 Letting Ndidi pass the ball back to the centre backs every chance he gets.

You know, given you don't watch the games you should probably avoid commenting, lest you look the fool. Spend one match glancing over to the bench and observe his reaction to what he's seeing - he's usually scowling, demanding more tempo and looks ready to kick the nearest cat when we waste time passing side to side without threatening.
Chester Dontlie Posted 15 December 2018 Posted 15 December 2018 It would probably be shorter to answer what are they doing right....
Fightforever Posted 15 December 2018 Posted 15 December 2018 We aren't pressing, we aren't moving off the ball and we can't string two or three passes together.
Blue'nWhiteFox Posted 15 December 2018 Posted 15 December 2018 I assume the players simply follow their orders of how to play. Then the right question is to ask: What are the Manager doing wrong?
Nick Posted 15 December 2018 Posted 15 December 2018 Heads are down both because of the crash and the fact the manager lost the dressing room six months ago. Zero Mojo. And anybody that crosses Puel gets the boot. Strong character so they just keep their heads down and keep playing. But they do so with no enthusiasm whatsoever.

FYI No 1. just so YOU don’t look a fool; I do watch the games, but choose not to attend at present which I have made clear before. FYI No 2. The manager is responsible for team performance regardless of what he may or may not do on the sidelines. I repeat, poor management does include not controlling the players ( if that is the case) / getting your wishes across / getting the best out of the players. Some of which you have said yourself above Puel is not doing.

Watching a 480p stream tells you nothing about what's going on, nor does it show you everything at the game. Even when the performance is the exact opposite of what he's asking?

Everyone just assumes "oh we are playing shit that must be how puel is telling them to play" In reality watch him on the sideline and he is literally screaming them forward at times.
Corky Posted 15 December 2018 Posted 15 December 2018 He wouldn't be here if they'd played for Ranieri throughout his second season and not put in appalling displays after the initial bounce under Shakespeare.
