No I just meant with another actor playing the same character, that was the bit I thought ludicrous until I thought of Bond.

That’s fairly commonplace in soaps, isn’t it?

 

Mark Fowler springs to mind (though, I confess, I have no idea who he is - I just remember my late mother being incensed by it).

I have to admit to not having much knowledge of any of the soaps, really not my bag.

if I was into them and they just changed the actor, I think that would kill my interest.

I’m familiar with some names and storylines because my old mum used to talk about them, but she’s been dead thirteen years now.
