I accept it was either pre determined or as he won it he was allowed to take it. But he's fast becoming the next mahrez when it comes to spot kicks. I think the word you're looking for (not just in this instance) is 'confusing'.

I didn’t clap them today but fair play to all those that did. Clapped them off as a lot of that team ran their hearts out. Ricardo was up and down that wing continuously.
Wolfboy Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Feel the exact same… booing towards players is also as annoying because nothing good comes of it, it just knocks the players confidence.... I know Iheanacho isn’t the most loved player on this forum but you can’t expect him to play well when the crowd boo him every week. Get behind the boys and stop the negativity.

No it's definitely worrying if a manager is admitting they have very little influence from the sudelines. I accept you can't make decisions for the players once on the pitch. But to have no influence is worrying.

Reg Vardy Posted 29 December 2018 Author Posted 29 December 2018 Funnily enough one of the comments was “ Well done Maddison you’ve cost me my money today....” I thought the ticket was for admission, not agauranteed win....... Didn’t think we deserved to lose today, should have won.....But if you had to ask me who our man of the match was, it wouldn’t be easy...... Unbelievable sh*te being spouted.
Fox92 Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 It's no wonder some of our players lack confidence.
ealingfox Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Crap result but yeah that was ridiculous, come on now why the fvck do that

Gevans_97 Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 booing is a massive problem in the fanbase at our club. Booing a relative youngster like iheanacho is a disgrace imo, back and support every player that puts on our shirt, especially the young lads who are struggling for confidence. Booing just makes it worse. Slightly unrelated note but I also HATE IT when fans boo ex players such as Mahrez. That man helped give us as fans the best year of our lives and you’re really going to boo him?

Did well when he came on btw. Should have started Same. People would be literally foaming at the mouth. It is a really odd hatred. I miss when Nacho was scoring screamers against Spurs and nobody hated him. Good times.

Those incidents are not Puels fault.....in any way shape or form. So if you were one of the moaning booing ****ers stfu. Please. Booing at the final whistle after a (or another) terrible performance is fine, pay your money, you have your rights. However, jeering and booing of one particular player because he isn't playing well, get a f****** grip, because if they score, you will be cheering. And seriously, how is that going to actually help? It doesn't help the player and makes us look like a horrible group of fans to play for, shows a lack of class.

Compared to some cities, it's actually quite nice I dont know who to point fingers at; a lot of the youth of today are just nobs. I'm 21 and genuinely can barely associate with some of the cr4p I see people my age do.

Same as the people saying "Puel is an idiot for getting rid of Slimani" and asking for Slimani back.... a player constantly slated when he did play.
surrifox Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 What do these players do in training ? Surely we can do better than this with penalties . Oh and Iheanacho , Okazaki 2018 and Gray are just not of the standard we need . Without JV who is going to score the goals we need just to stay in the division let alone get to the next level up ?

The original comment attributed to Ranieri was; 'The manager can't dictate everything from the side of the pitch.' That is not the same as this statement; 'The manager can't dictate anything from the side of the pitch' So, by inference, a manager can dictate some things from the side of the pitch. As a completely random example, he could write a note with a formation change and hand it to some pimply scrote to pass on to the rest of the team.
Lionator Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Spoilt and incredibly entitled. The atmosphere was as flat as the performance today and I genuinely feel that Cardiff's vocal support helped them over the line. What happened to supporting your team?

On the Slimani thing, no one puts it as the Slim or Vardy aspect, Vardy wanted him gone. People were happy to sack Puel to keep him happy.
Winsum Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Fans are entltled to boo when they see dross served up like today The choice of substitutions was horrendous and that deserved to be booed

fox_favourite Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 I've got a great idea! We need a goal to win it, it's not working with Vardy or he's running out of steam. I know...as we need a confident striker to come on I'll boo him when he comes on...yeah that'll help his confidence to shoot at goal and give his all for the team!! Absolutely ridiculous to boo your own players and tactical change. Question it after the game but not boo, it doesn't help in any way!!!!
