LCFC1996 Posted 31 January 2019 Posted 31 January 2019 Gonna be seeing a couple new faces in the U23's with him & Knight out of loan then
Tuna Posted 31 January 2019 Posted 31 January 2019 Just sacked Neil Lennon I wonder whether he had lined the transfer up, anyway nice to see him get a bit of experience of senior football.
brucey Posted 31 January 2019 Posted 31 January 2019 I thought Beaglehole was meant to be blocking all these moves Glad for the lads, hope they come back fitter and better
Ian Nacho Posted 31 January 2019 Posted 31 January 2019 I thought it was strange after the pre-season, he wasn't even in any squads.

They didn't sack him but he didn't resign either apparently. Not really sure how that works but that's what they're saying.
LCCFox96 Posted 31 January 2019 Posted 31 January 2019 Seems a very charismatic character and very pleased to have to opportunity to go out and play. Wish him all the best and hope he has a hugely positive experience up at Hibs. Likewise Knight at Peterborough. A huge positive in this window has been placing some good youth talent in Elder, Diabate, Knight and Johnson out on loan. Be interesting to follow their progress.
lgfualol Posted 31 January 2019 Posted 31 January 2019 Finally loaning him out. Thought Beaglehole would have him in the u23s until retirement
Alf Bentley Posted 31 January 2019 Posted 31 January 2019 Comes across well in that video on a personal level. Seems a calm, positive, thinking lad, self-confident without being too cocky. Will be interesting to see how he gets on.

Probably because our recruitment team decided to sign 3 CB’s. It’s going to take a lot to get ahead of Soyuncu and Benkovic unfortunately. Really hope Johnson and Knight perform on loan and give Puel something to think about in the summer.

The positive aspect of all this is if Harry moves this summer and with Wes reaching the end of his time here, we do not need to sign any replacement CB's as we have numerous young and pacey options to choose from.
volpeazzurro Posted 1 February 2019 Posted 1 February 2019 A bit of whoosh ya bugger football might be good for him. Good luck to him any way and Josh Knight.

The players wanted to go out on loan and the club allowed it
Nicolo Barella Posted 1 February 2019 Posted 1 February 2019 They really out to get their plastic pitches sorted in Scotland if they want their league to grow. Celtic should pay to get them all grass, like Ajax did in the Netherlands.
nwl fox Posted 1 February 2019 Posted 1 February 2019 Be interesting to see whether they use him as CB or RB
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 1 February 2019 Posted 1 February 2019 Good luck to the lad hope he gets the experience he needs

There are far more in the lower leagues but many of which are teams from the Highlands and further north were maintaining a grass pitch is a nightmare.

Thought he was excellent in pre-season. Shame he'll be missing out on the Bayern Munich game, having captained the U23s to the quarter finals. Hopefully will gain some good experience and be challenging for a place in the first team next season.

Yes, my thoughts exactly

But imo there is probably a case to be made that he’s our most naturally talented CB. Choudhury was pretty average this season for the u23s but because he is naturally talented, he has transitioned to the PL comfortably. Maybe Johnson is the same.
