I’m not voting to please you or entertain anyone else though am I? I find it amusing and the other options are shit, I don’t find his brand of politics disturbing and I have no interest in maintaining the status quo. It’s a match made in heaven.

And there is merit in this philosophy. Why drag out the crash and burn. Make it fiery and hope that a phoenix can arise from the ashes.

Missed the corbyn quote but it seems he's hoping to win a GE at whatever cost to the country. He'd rather be in power of a mess than not in power at all.

Is anyone else seeing echoes of the build-up to the Iraq war in America's rhetoric over Iran?

I see echoes but I think it's more Trumpism. The need to tweet.

No, I think Bolton and Israel/Saudi are leading him by the nose.

A bit of an over reaction to relegation to league one imo.

Perfectly normal reaction to going into administration and losing 12 points though.

Truer than you realise, Mac: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sócrates#Personal_life ;)

"Sócrates was a physician, a rare achievement for a professional footballer (he held a bachelor's degree in medicine from the Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto). Even rarer is the fact that he earned the degree while concurrently playing professional football. After retiring as a player he practised medicine at Ribeirão Preto. He was also noted for being an intellectual, a heavy drinker and a smoker".

Sure, that makes sense now.

Unfortunately points deductions were not in place when we went into administration, otherwise we might not have had to pay to demolish filbert street.

Another milkshake protest, this time at Farage - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tyne-48339711

For anybody interested in the flavour and or price, the BBC can confirm via Mr Crowther -  'Paul Crowther, 32, from Throckley, Newcastle, said it was a £5.25 Five Guys banana and salted caramel milkshake.'

Once I'd bought that I'd have to drink it all, ESPECIALLY AT THAT PRICE WORLD'S GONE MAD ETC

Amen. If I were paying £5.25 for a milkshake I'd expect it to be served in a bucket sized cup.

I cannot stand bananas so I do feel for Farage, but then if you can live with being Farage you can live with that I guess.

Rightly so too.

Seems like Farage has everyone on the run, the last couple of weeks have just been smears thrown in his direction!

Well, he had a milkshake thrown in his direction today, so at least that mixed it up a bit.

All very well and good to have a bit of a harmless protest but for Farage to claim that it's an example of remainers being radicalized is a bit OTT imo.

Yeah, I mean a Brexit supporter actually murdered an MP days before the referendum but I don't see him using that isolated incident as an example of Brexit supporters being radicalised.

The sad thing is that both sides use these 'attacks' to score points against the other.

Saw that yesterday on Twitter, awful news, regardless of the stupid things he's said/done in the past.

Maybe it will make people think before they say/ type awful things in future? No doubt he'll be getting some grief back and it all ends in a cycle of abuse.

And Carl Benjamin's been hit by a milkshake for the fourth time already.

Agree to disagree with people and their views, but assault? Utter nonsense. Media-fueled mob mentality. Just...

What's next? Eggs? Rocks? Bottles? A knife to the heart?
