International football - Who would beat LCFC?

Recommended Posts

The world has changed and our squad is made up of Internationals from around the globe.  Even our bench, our youth setup and those out on loan are included in a plethora of internationals at our disposal.

I've watched the football this weekend and for the most part I've thought "we'd beat these".  There are a couple who we may struggle against.  Obviously this is a hypothetical situation and within the rules of such things, our players can play for both us and their country if we're up against one another.

So....In your opinion, which international teams would beat LCFC and who is of similar quality?

so, to sum up so far:

We are better than Germany and Argentina, we have equal arial ability to Sweden and Manchester City are the best team in the world.

However...

We should concentrate on the league rather than the hypothetical domestic v international cup

But we want to be qualifying for Europe!!

Club Atletico Kimberley beat Hungary 3-1 in the 1978 world cup. Well their shirts did, but still counts for something and a good benchmark for any club with World Cup ambitions
