Crawley likewise had a good knock in a warm-up test and haven't seen him since. Something has to be done about this batting situation, it's becoming an embarrassment and for as good as Root and Bairstow can be, sadly they are the ones letting us down at the moment.

And the preparations were difficult with most the squad having if at some point. I think he will bat, but he hasn't been on the field all day. Whereas Root ensured he was on the field enough to bat in his usual position. Scared of jinxing it but these 2 been good so far.

Root and Buttler need to do pretty much all the legwork from here.

Disappointing to set up but lower order couldn't hang around but they should never have been chasing that much in the first place. Pope comes in for Bairstow and think we'll go with a spinner, they'll probably go for the easy option of Curran.
