I thought time had run out for him to be back on the field in order to open.

Quite slow indeed. 

Can only imagine they want to pace themselves then turn it in to a t20-style game after 30 overs with a realistic and achievable target. 

 

Keeping wickets in hand is key for that kind of strategy.

I can't imagine the players would be any different either. 

 

Just want this to continue to be a good World Cup with the best teams going through. If that means England or Pakistan making it in 4th place (or Bangladesh even) then so be it.
