AS Monaco are keen, Tielemans did well during his loan, and it would be possible to use Adrien Silva as part of the deal. Despite all of that, it’s July 1st tomorrow and nothing looks imminent, whilst Silva himself hasn’t heard anything from the club about a potential transfer to Monaco or anywhere else. France’s FootMercato have spoken to the midfielder’s entourage, and they don’t seem too thrilled with the idea he’s simply a commodity to be used in the process to sign someone else. FootMercato say someone close to the player has told them: “Adrien has a contract with Leicester for two years. He is expected to resume training. We have not heard from the club, but we are respectful of our commitments so we are waiting to talk to them about their position on Adrien. “We remain attentive to possible proposals, but we had no contact with any club.” Specifically on the Tielemans claims, they said: “Talking about him as a bargaining chip is a lack of respect for a recognised professional who had a major stake in the title of European Champion of Portugal just three years ago.” Maybe a little contact from Leicester City wouldn’t be a bad idea at this stage. AS is being used as a bargaining chip: There are obvious reasons why he could be part of the deal, but it’s not a deal breaker. There is an offer on the table which will be concluded. It may include AS, it may not. Not a bargaining chip as such, but a potential win win for all involved. 2. Leicester haven't been in touch with AS: The club maintain regular contact with all players. When you’re paying an employee a vast amount of money it would be remiss not to. 3. Leicester have shown a lack of respect: Our club, more than any other club does not work like that. It has in the past, but is now run my billionaire business owners who believe that the foundations of good business, productivity and staff moral are based in respect. 4.
