Hope he recovers fully

Wow, its the first I've heard of it which is strange as he's a famous ex player, used to manage in the premier league and manages one of the best national sides in Europe.

Good to hear he's recovering.

Anyone watching Juve vs AC Milan?

If anyone remembers De Jong's karate-kick on Xabi Alonso against Spain all those years ago, Ante Rebic just did his best impression of that. Literally seconds after Ronaldo missed a penalty as well.

Yeah but how long did it last? About another year tops. All of those players are more famous for their time elsewhere.

Nedved and Salas snapped up by Juve a year later, Veron to United at the same time, Mancini to Leicester, Nesta to Milan the year after, not to mention Sven to England.

Plus, guys like Simeone, Mancini etc were on the way out.

Even their replacements were never around for long and were often there late in their career, Poborsky did a year or so, Crespo likewise.

They had an eye for talent but just never the resources to keep them from moving on. Bit like Dortmund really.

Love the difference between the Italian and German behind closed doors games.

German you can barely hear anything, the odd shout for a pass or whatever but nothing much else.

Italian it's just like thirty odd voices all dramatically yelling at each other constantly lol
