bovril Posted 7 June 2019 Posted 7 June 2019 I had the original with Sinclair on the back. Got lots of stick circa 1999 for that one. Let's be honest, it's an awful shirt.

Hardest defence in the Premier League at that time. One of the hardest ever. Funny that Taggart and Elliott were seen as the scary ones but Sinclair was the tackle-a-brick-wall borderline psychopath.

My claim to fame is that my missus got chatted up by Frank Sinclair in a nightclub but she refused to take his number saying she already had a BF. Part of me was a bit gutted that she didn't bring him back to our place so I could get a picture and his autograph actually.

kingfox Posted 7 June 2019 Posted 7 June 2019 Might get it and ask them to stick Gunnlaugsson on the back of it.

Ric Flair Posted 8 June 2019 Posted 8 June 2019 Wish they'd release the Palace play-off winning shirt and the first seasons back in the Prem.

string the Eskimo Posted 8 June 2019 Posted 8 June 2019 I've kept all of mine. I knew they would come back into fashion. Trouble is I'm to fat to get in them now.

Funny that Taggart and Elliott were seen as the scary ones but Sinclair was the tackle-a-brick-wall borderline psychopath. He was actually a decent bloke off the pitch. We ran into him, muzzy, Lennon, Stef Oakes, taggart and guppy playing pool in the soar point after the trophy parade when we won the Worthington cup. They must have got straight off the bus and gone pub, we went and brought 4 copies of the special mercury and then bottled going to ask them to sign it, so my now wife went and asked. He told her to tell us we were Wankers for not having the bottle, then retracted it incase we started kicking off, like that was gonna happen, him, muzzy, Lennon and taggart all signed and posed for photos for us. Stef wasn't so keen and guppy got in trouble when his missus turned up and dragged him off for drinking in some battered old 206. Sinclair then took out about must have been about 2k in 20s and got the beers in. Shame I was driving otherwise i might have stayed all night.
