It's Rumania in Spanish and he'd have been at Real at the time wouldn't he? Maybe it's a sticker from a Spanish release? 

 

According to Wikipedia, we started spelling it Romania around 1975.

I have a Romanian friend, and they confirm that Romania is the correct spelling.

Yes, he was rested, he is their regular Centre Back. He probably will be back for the Germany Semi this evening. It's on Sky, 5.00 KO.

Yep, Alex is in the team.  I'd urge anyone with Sky, who is around at 5.00, to watch it.  I genuinely would like to get a good cross section of views on Pascanu's quality - especially as so many on Transfer Talk seem to think that he's way down in the pecking order with Evans, the Old Man, Soyuncu, Benkovic, Johnson and Knight.  Personally, having seen him play as much as the last 4 in that list, I think he has more technical ability than them, more pace, is a better reader of the game and has far more potential.

 

Germany will be a tough call though.
