It’s almost as if we forgot playing with a CB who isn’t running in treacle isn’t actually a positive thing?

 

Never can say ANY defender had a great game when concede 3 in 25 minutes BUT was probably the best CB on the pitch for us today.

 

That run in the second half when Kelechi could have played him in but blazed it over summed up his much needed energetic performance.

He also had enough motivation to try and play the ball forward for us, so I take his lack of appearances as Rodgers been a dimwit.

 

Feels so stupid we have a player of this quality in our squad for so long whilst letting him rot in the reserves.

Ostracising Soyuncu - an experienced international who, let’s not forget, still starts pretty much every game for Turkey - is just one of a catalogue of calamitous and avoidable errors by Rodgers (how long have you got?) that have seriously endangered this club’s Premier League status… yet been largely ignored by the national media - and, much worse, for far too long by our indulgent, irresponsible chairman.
