BenTheFox Posted 23 August 2021 Posted 23 August 2021 I don't think he's a dreadful footballer. I've seen far worse following the city but he possesses literally none of the traits of a top half premier league winger. He's not quick, he doesn't put in a good cross or take a good set piece, he doesn't have a trick in him and doesn't score from outside the box. Albrighton for all his limitations offers us at least one of those things.

Trelleh Posted 23 August 2021 Posted 23 August 2021 Worst performance I’ve seen in a city shirt for 10 years. Offered absolutely fvck all throughout that half, fluffed a simple shot with no pressure on him. Blessing in disguise he’s gone now, we’ll probably look more threatening this half and give someone else a chance while he’s out. Hopefully gets nowhere near the match day squad again. 1 1

honeybradger Posted 23 August 2021 Posted 23 August 2021 I dont rate him but getting a stupid red card isnt one of the reasons i dont think he should start for us. These things happen.
Guest Kopfkino Posted 23 August 2021 Posted 23 August 2021 Let’s get it straight, he plays because the club won’t give Brendan another option

Deebhoy Posted 23 August 2021 Posted 23 August 2021 I said in the match thread, the manager has a blind spot and Perez is that player. I bet he starts him again whenever he can. Dreadful decision to start him tonight.
Le Renard Posted 23 August 2021 Posted 23 August 2021 He's meh, not good enough for a top six side in the Prem, but to be fair to him, he's not suited to play as a RW.
Molson Canadian Posted 23 August 2021 Posted 23 August 2021 30 years ago we would be applauding a tackle like that.
Guest ttfn Posted 23 August 2021 Posted 23 August 2021 The red card is neither here nor there, it was an accident. What I have a problem with is that he is totally incapable of impacting close games for us. He never even looks like influencing things. He’s a £30m player ffs.
Analysethis Posted 23 August 2021 Posted 23 August 2021 Im not a Perez fan at all as I think he is a Leicester squad player of 10 years ago and not now, he just isnt good enough. Today though, Ndidi, Maddison and Tielemans have had their worst games I can remember in a Leicester shirt. Perez was better than them three put together with a few neat touches. Lets hope the defenders come back quickly and the aforementioned trio get match fit quickly.

Guest ttfn Posted 23 August 2021 Posted 23 August 2021 Just now, Stadt said: In his last 40 games he’s barely showed he’s worth £10m Some of us were aghast we spent more than £10m on him in the first place. I think he had something to offer as a Premier League number 10 and as a squad player with that specific brief he’d be fine. But he’s a mid-table Championship winger.

Popular Post Marutimon Posted 23 August 2021 Popular Post Posted 23 August 2021 I have no idea how he is benching Iheanacho. Makes absolutely no sense after last season. Can anyone honestly explain this to me? 7
sdb Posted 23 August 2021 Posted 23 August 2021 I'm done defending the bloke. I always thought he was a good player surrounded by better players. But he's just a hindrance. 1
Always Next Year Posted 23 August 2021 Posted 23 August 2021 The one good thing to come out of the sending off, is that he won’t be playing for the next 3 games. 2
