Caglar Soyuncu emerges as new cult hero at Leicester City

In a rational market this would bring transfer fees down.

That is sort of, part of my point.

Not read up on facts and figures and players have always gone on frees.

But if lots more do this, drop a 40 million transfer fee to 20 million sign on fee, how long before the transfer market is affected and clubs lose that player equity and fall foul of debts?

Not an economist nor read up on this...... obviously

Just realised that Caglar's contract finishes in the Summer 2023. Anyone heard any news of a renewal? I definitely think we should try and hold on to him. Very good player, although this season hasn't been his best.

There must be a few like me who like him. He's a bit of a character, isn't he?

I think we need him.

He just needs someone who believes him in.

Like many of the players do.

Not belittling.

Remember that season Tottenham didn’t buy anyone. They pedalled the message that they couldn’t purchase the players they wanted, so now wasn’t the right time to buy. The players they had were good enough.

That’s what we should have done.

Brendan has been in self preservation mode for weeks, if not months.

I think it more then just Rodgers.

Why do you think that?

He has 11 month left on his contract and has shown no sign of being willing to sign a new one.

For me he had one good season and the his agent start talking about Barc and Real Madrid.

Just seem he doesn't want to be here.

Why would he sign a new contract at a club where the manager openly scapegoats him and refuses to play him?

This squad nears a spark and Soyuncu returning to the XI could well do that if he can roll the years back

This didn't start this summer.

Same as Tielemans, no?

Can’t be worst than Ndidi as CB. Really. Ndidi was guilty for 3 goals today. He is often out of position and makes dangerous backpasses; simply cannot be worst.

As a coach , 1st thing u learn is u don’t weaken one area to strengthen another , that’s what dummy Rodger has done

I'd rather we let BR go than him.

To Galatasary on a free and off to Barca, Madrid or Bayern for 5 million Euros the week after?

A million each to Cags, his agent and LCFCs 20 percent sell on clause, Two million to the Galatasary chairman.

thats how I would do it anyway.......
