I’ve long felt the tunnel should be on the opposite side of the ground. Another missed opportunity

Why? What opportunity are we possibly missing? The players walk out and line up in front of the directors/owners and boxes, exactly where they should

Edit; if that was sarcasm my hangry self fully fell for that :D

I'd have guessed they were joking.. but then again, someone did blame the election for the atmosphere being flat on saturday in another thread...

What things have they changed?

Just the stuff you see in the tunnel cam vids, better lighting and nicer visuals. They also play the walkout music during your tour which is a nice touch.

I'd recommend doing the stadium tour if you haven't done it for a few years.

At the start of the match the centre circle should flip open and the teams should rise up on a platform whilst the Thunderbirds theme plays.

Rumour has it that the tunnel and dressing rooms are being incorporated into the new east stand development.

the old dressing rooms ect are being turned into a museum.

the new east stand is going to be the new facade of the stadium.

not sure how true this rumour is but would be excellent in my opinion

Have heard that as well.

please get rid of the foxes never quit sign above the tunnel (unless they already have), unless the plan is that the opposition players are so un-threatened by it that they don't take us seriously.

From the survey that was sent out to season ticket holders regarding the expansion, I fully expect that the tunnel and changing rooms will move to the East Stand and will have a tunnel viewing area for fans to see the player's as they prepare to enter the pitch.

Andrew Neville too great pleasure in pointing this out to every player as they left the pitch after the late winner against Everton .....

What? It’s a piece of our history.

Just upgraded the current area, as this will eventually be the museum and memorial to Vichai once they extend the East stand and put new changing rooms and corporate areas there..

Heard the latter a while back.

The club want the expansion to be the new face of the ground as well as the new tunnel etc... its deffiently been looked into anyway.
