Lucky to last this long ?

As we in this forum know all too well, it can be difficult to see fault in the guy who managed you to a cup victory.

Thanks for the cup win Jimmy, we will always have May 25 in the history books.

1.5 years in the job and and I still can't work out the system we are trying to play. The Conference league away games were an embarrassment.

Who next?  The shout seems to be the Motherwell manager but he's too early into his role at Fir Park.

The hope is that our new German DOF has someone up his sleeve.

Next 2 games......Rangers home and away. Good luck Peter Leven.

Nancy sacked after 8 games lol

I did say MON wouldn't come to us as he'd be back at Celtic in January, didn't think it would be as early as the 5th though lol

Celtic giving us a run for our money in incompetence race.

That said, he appeared to be absolutely clueless.

Who says protests don’t work?

Shhh. Don’t be insensitive to our hard working players by suggesting such activity

What will we do if their performance levels drop as a result eh?

Given our board's apparent fascination with mediocre dirge (Jesse Marsch, Bruss) I have no doubt Big Wilf would be tempting.

Martin O’Neil back at Celtic again.

Topping  up the pension.

Scottish league is one of the worst in Europe. If I were MON I would have turned them down but I guess he's too kind as a person to decline.

Wonder if we will see Nancy in the EFL, will he look to stick around to see if one club might give him a chance. Port Vale looking for a manager ;)  from Celtic Park to Vale Park :giggle: couldn't do any worse.

He loves the club, will run Hearts close for the title, is revered by everyone and his wife likes some quiet time around the house.  What's not to like?

Well, that's annoying - they'll probably pip Hearts now they've got the guy who actually knows how to manage a football team. Again. lol

BBC article saying fans may be allowed to buy alcohol at Scotland game

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cgjwdpjzn2jo

Supporters could be allowed to buy alcohol at a Scotland match later this year as part of a plan aimed at lifting the booze ban in Scottish football.

The Scottish FA have confirmed the trial could take place during one of the national team friendly matches in March or June, prior to the World Cup.

Steve Clarke's side will host Japan on 28 March and Curacao on 30 May.

Fans could be allowed to buy alcohol in the stadium concourse but the plans do not include spectators taking drinks back to their seats.

Trials have taken place this season at league matches.

The general sale of alcohol inside Scottish stadia was banned in 1981 following a riot after a Scottish Cup final between Celtic and Rangers.

Is that really true ... that you haven't been able to buy a beer inside Scottish football grounds for 45 years?

I've been to a fair number of games in that period, and generally never really fancied a beer in the ground ... so I'd never noticed.    Although thinking about it, I did go Partick Thistle a couple of years ago and fancied a beer to wash down my pizza, and was disappointed that there wasn't a bar selling beer.   Only massively over-priced cups of coffee, tea and soup.

Mind you, I went to the 1980 Scottish Cup Final/riot ... so I can understand why the authorities got twitchy about alcohol ... although the problem was more people bringing bottles of whisky into the ground!   empty glass bottles made dangerous weapons ....................

Still happens in scotland.  I wonder if they'll still ban it for high profile games.
