I didn't even realise until after I watched it that adolescence episodes were shot in one take. How they choreographed that I have no idea but particularly episode two in the school, something else with all those people about.

But it just makes the acting all the more extraordinary and I think actually really adds to the tension as it builds. The police raid in episode 1 was like a documentary, you really felt like you were there. Then the tension in episode three is insane.

I don't wanna say too much to spoil it for others but it's the kind of TV that stays with you

Adolescence is very good, especially the third episode. The final episode is the most bleak tv I've ever seen, and that isn't a criticism

A Deadly American Marriage.  Well made documentary featuring all the major people involved in this shocking case and ultimately another damning indictment of the US justice system.  Those poor teenagers have been through the ringer.

Watching Yellowstone, late to the party but it's superb. On S2, does it continue this good or decline?

For me, it declined so much after the first couple seasons, that I still haven't watched the final one.

It remains steady.

One of the best series I’ve watched.

Just finished 1883 which was also a belter.

1923 now.

Im really liking the stuff Paramount/MTV etc are churning out. Quite neutral, not trying to influence agendas or peoples views. Just good watching.

I've started watching Rick and Morty, a full 12 years after everybody else

I've thought about doing exactly the same recently. I've just never "got it" and it doesn't seem to appeal to me even though it should.

How are you finding it?

Well, I'm about 4 episodes in and so far it's just knockabout daftness - I get the impression it gets a bit harder to follow as it goes on, but for now it's just fun.

I do find it funny, but like everything not everyone will find it so, and there's probably not a whole lot else there for anyone who's not amused

Quality drama/thriller set in a national park with Eric Bana and Sam Neill with some beautiful cinematography.

I really enjoyed this, but twigged it pretty much quite early on, didn’t detract much from how much I enjoyed it, though.
