Thought it'd be a bit of a shower, oh well. At least the retirements made it slightly interesting.

Lewis Hamilton, what a man!

Well done Hamilton. Wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up on 120+ wins in his career.

Really touching moment watching Mick Schumacher present one of his Father's crash helmets to Hamilton.

Yes that was a lovely gesture, and Lewis seemed genuinely moved by it too. I noticed they whisked it away before it got soaked in champagne, good thinking!

Wouldn't be shocked to see him move to formula E or something

I dont think he'll keep racing tbh, could try for the triple crown, he's already set up some extreme e team or something, could see him making an FE team though

Another record!

Will he retire if he breaks  the record for world titles next season?

Won’t be much more for him to achieve on the track.

Think he'll want a crack at the new cars, see if he actually has to race a bit

He'll want the most poles as well which shouldn't take too long.

No idea where he is on most points, though that's not really a fair fight now they give 25 points instead of 10.

I thought this earlier, so I googled adjusted points record. At the end of last season, after points were adjusted to match the current points system he was 2nd behind Schumacher by 141 points. So he now clear in first.

And he's got the pole record, had it a while. He's on 97 to Schumacher 68.

Back to normality now

lol I thought it was going to be an amazing race after the first two laps...

But no.

F1 really needs a second team to up their game to regularly take on Mercedes.

It doesn't help that Honda pulled the plug earlier this season leaving just Renault and Ferrari to compete with Mercedes.

At this rate, I don't think any competitors will catch up with Mercedes or give them a good run before Hamilton retires.
