With the halo and the safety tests these cars go through, it shows you how the sport has evolved to stop serious injuries, even in the biggest of crashes.

I think the fact that the driver walked away from that demonstrates why a cost reduction in F1 is a crazy idea.

When they walk away relatively unscathed watching crashes like that is bloody brilliant. Most excitement you get.

the mentality of these drivers is insane. imagine being hamilton, both titles wrapped up and see a colleague go through that. why go out racing again this weekend? sit it out. they are another level. fair play

Might sound really stupid but it didn't look like a crash that would cause that sort of outcome. I'm not knowledgeable on F1 but no obvious reason why he's gone off the track, other than just simply losing control. I guess it emphasises that any crash is dangerous and we take it for granted 

 

Brilliant that we can look at this incident knowing he's managed to survive.

Just seen footage of the Grosjean crash, without knowing the outcome you would immediately assume it was a fatality, incredible that he walks away from it.
