Stick Foden/Henderson there instead, and Chilwell at LWB, and it'd be much better balanced.

As per, Southgate calls up an entire squad and barely rotates. Pope and Henderson having brilliant seasons and not getting a look. Maitland-Niles regularly played as a LWB and isn't given a start, same with Grealish and Ings.

Oh dear the state of the national team at the moment is frankly shocking. Time for Gareth to go, I'd seriously rather watch Sunday league football

I don't think I've ever seen a worse midfield trio since Graham Taylor era, what on earth? 3 defensive midfielders with the likes of Mount and Barkley on the bench. Surely Southgate hasn't long left in this job? Abysmal since the World Cup.

Yeah I can't be arsed with Southgate anymore. Thought he was different for a short period but he's just another complete bore of a manager. This line up is beyond a joke.

We got to the semi final thanks to an absolute freak of a draw. And a decent England side should have won the semi.

Even the World Cup, we probably had the easiest way to a semi final by any team ever, when we did play someone half decent we folded,
