I got 96 so far and haven't used my free hit or wildcard. The players I had all managed to contribute something, especially Stones.

 

So different compared to Nov/Dec when nobody was turning up

Yep. I had Charlie Taylor this week. Missed the easy first game through injury but appeared against Liverpool, only to get subbed after 49 mins so got 1 point instead of a clean sheet. 

 

And Fabio Silva on my bench nabbed a goal and is sitting on 6 points

Tale of the cheap midfielders, Saka and Gundogan doing the business for me last night.

 

Shame the guy who is top of my league had those two, Soucek and Cancelo too though....

Took Dias out for Stones for a cheaper option, Pep goes and doesn’t start him....

Signed Sterling like Stan did.   Got Stones, Dier and KWP in my defence FFS. 

 

Worst of all, due to injuries I had to leave Bamford in the starting line up.  I now felt somewhat personally responsible 🤣

Was getting ready to bin Salah after this weekend but ending his goal drought has given me food for thought.

 

Also wary of keeping funds free for when Vards returns and I can transfer him back

Transferred Shaw in this week- what an incredibly well timed signing until I realised I have left him on the bench for some reason.  

 

Now praying that Dier will be dropped again for the next game as per my previous post.

Debated between Fernandes/Salah for ages this morning to transfer in.

 

Decided to go with Salah. Hope he has a field day over Brighton. Need it after the weekend's horror show.

Last game week not a single goal, assist or clean sheet. This week every player other than Ings has got a goal/clean sheet/assist and I’ve still got Son to play.

Well I put Salah in for yesterday and he did nothing, as usual when I put him in.

Amazingly -7 can't be got from captaining. It would have been -21 if you had triple captained him. In the weird world of Fantasy, I'm sure that happened somewhere...
