If we are playing three CBs regularly, then surely there is a role for him in a crowded and intensive season like the one ahead? Saves us a shed load of dosh buying a reserve, reserve CB.

Cards on the table - I like Amarty.  He was a good make shift right back - shakey said how difficult it was to get past him.  He had a level of focus and effort abut him. The injury was a big blow and I hope that he is in Rodgers plans.

Agree with the comments about being a CB, he looks made for the position, and played it pretty well for country AFAIK.

Again, echoing others, seems a genuinely decent pro too, and on the face of it a likeable, all round decent guy.

If it were not to work out for him here, for whatever reason, I hope he does go on to make a decent career for himself somewhere, seems like he deserves a break....

Yes this make lots of sense, The problem I think the Club has is that the injury was so bad that it may not stand up to the heavy challenges required in the premiership.

If they sell now they may recover a lot of the outlay on him. If he was to play for us and damaged it again then that would make him pretty much unsalable.

But as a back up CB for what he costs and he knows the club well as a Squad player it makes lots of sense to keep him, As he can fill in different positions.

If we have to play Dan Amartey, for the love of God, play him at CB

If we ever see him again in central midfield I’m going to give up and support Coventry

:D

Christ, I forgot about him. He’s our back up right back then while Riccy is kaput. Poor bastard may as well been on the moon last season.

You know how desperate we are when people are calling for Amartey.

Was actually very good in 18/19 🤷‍♂️

You mean he had 2 decent enough performances in those 2 huff-and-puff typical Puel wins over Newcastle and Huddersfield?

Another player who get better without playing.

When he's played for us he's been nothing more the bang average, and now he's seen as a the answer to all our problems! lol

The guy hasn't played a competitive games since 2018

Sad to hear, It looks like it could be the end of his career. The Club have have him insured in which case they might get some money back.

As for Daniel, I feel for him, It could be promising career ended tragically. I hope he also is well covered though that doesn't compensate if his career ends.

On the other hand they are able to do amazing things now with Growth Hormones nowadays. So you never know.

A Great FT meltdown conspiracy......

D.Amartey & James, become our suprise successfull midfield Dynamos....

Utility player Amartey also proves himself in Leicesters BLine, when called upon....!

Both players with nearly 8 injury years, between & behind them, leave fans deliriously Gobsmacked..

Benkovic & Soyuncu become the brickwalls of the PL...

Europe again in foxes fever......

Now thats a positive forward thinking post....Happy clappers unite...!!! .against These cloth cap misgogs
