If BR & club having transfer issues then bring loanees back

The way things are going i dont think anyone can deny that there is something wrong behind the scenes, and the silence and lack of talk.

 

Worst case scenario I would bring back Slimani, Silva and Diabate. I would use Gray as the winger therefore requiring us to spend £30-40mil on a LB. If we cannot fill these slots then I dont see how we can possibly put a decent sqaud together this year. At least Slim and Silva have decent European football experience.

 

Thoughts on a postcard.

For the 1000th time, Slimani will not come back here, other members of the squad WILL NOT play with him, they don't want him around. It's been repeated about 500 times. Slimani and a couple of others in our squad didn't get on.

In times of crisis bash their heads together. They're professionals for christ sake who are employed by the club.

Slimani doesn't want to be here either, he'd just be a morale drainer on the squad. In an ideal world you'd make them work together and they'd get along fine for 90 minutes, but it won't happen. There's a reason he hasn't been back with us since pre-season started, we have no intention of him playing for us ever again.

Enlighten me? What did he do?

 

As a professional myself and being forced to work with people who despise me I'd still say use them for 1 season only until their contracts run out then run them into the ground because frankly without them we're stuffed, with them it won't half as bad. 

 

If your beef with Slim is valid enough then still bring the others back and try and go for a striker, even on loan.

Love that, new thread from an Indy post. Couldn't we have just had this discussion in the various other threads about the lack of signings?

Its 30 August. In a normal transfer window this would be 30 June. I'll give it another 2 weeks before I start to worry.

Slimani has played around 240 minutes in the Premier league for us since May 2017.

 

There's about a dozen or so players we've discarded since. Slimani ain't gonna make some Lazurus style comeback.

We've lost 1 player since the end of the season, there's no reason to believe he won't be replaced other than blind panic. How would players that weren't good enough to make the squad last season improve it this?

The 'slump' second half of last season suggested we more than most clubs needed 4/5 quality additions especially with the burden of europa league.

 

However, we've signed no one and the new season is upon us.

 

Weve all looked at other clubs in the past and said 'well, they were shit last season and they havent strengthened...

 

we are now in that category.

Ah right, Rudkin and co have not done their annual update of transfer business on radio Leicester ? Strange that.

was more directed at you stating we've lost one player, assuming he'll be replaced at some stage before the season.

 

My point is even if we did replace him, what about the 4/5 more we need?

I swear people are reading transfer talk like it’s a live feed from Leicester HQ with Congers, Rudders and  BR posting live updates on ongoing transfer sagas…

 

The time to analyse whether our team has been successful or not in a transfer window or not is 14 seconds past midnight on the day the window closes…
