Views from the fans:

Good to see it’s not just our fans that rate players based on whether they win on not lol the switch in Dewsbury-Hall is particularly sharp

"Technically,  the best midfielder I think that I've ever seen at Oakwell" - bloody hell, the gene pool must be pretty reduced in that part of Yorkshire

Remember they'd beaten us 3-0 with DD being class for them. Not much later on he was snapped up by us

Tonights Games

Championship:

Josh Knight - starting for Wycombe vs Birmingham

George Hirst - on the bench for Rotherham vs Luton

Kiernan Dewbsury-Hall - not in the squad for Luton vs Rotherham

Luton have made 6 changes tonight with Dewsbury-Hall one of those dropped, this is what the Luton manager said in an article this morning:

"Obviously, he’s just come in, he’s been fresh and has done well in the games."

"There’s going to come a time where we won’t be able to continue to play him all the time and he’s going to need a rest, to freshen."

"Because it takes a lot of concentration and a lot of things he’s not used to yet."

Which leads me to believe it is just a rest, and we don't have to worry about him being injured etc.

Last page suggests he had a mare in the last match and now hasn't made the squad.. not to worry as he's got a 4 year deal out of us somehow

Doubt he has been completely dropped because of 1 off game when he has been one of their best players since he joined them, especially with how big a fan of him their manager is

6 changes and the above article easily suggests it is simply just him being rested

wut? They mean he lost concentration last match, so they're giving another player a match, especially since KDH will return to us at some point? That's my attempt at translation anyway.

I'm watching Wycombe again. Josh Knight is solid enough with a team that's under the cosh, sustaining pressure and trying to counter attack. He's making some good long passes to their WWE wannabe target man, Akinfenwa. Wycombe, their manager recovering at home from a back injury, have gone behind from a corner but they're hardly a mess and have threatened.

Wycombe are dragging themselves out of the relegation zone with two wins on the trot against bottom placed Wednesday and mid-table Birmingham, with a last minute winner by their Nigerian sub, Fred Onyedinma. Josh has the most long balls and accurate long balls, made one key pass and managed five clearances.

Not really worked for hirst so far has it. 20/30 mins off the bench and yet to score his first goal, hope he gets one soon

He will not make it here, absolutely no chance.

...I suspect they are looking for him to receive the ball and hold it up for other players to join, it is what you do with a big fellow up front!!!

He plays with the ball on the ground and is more skillful than the people around him seems to understand. We just need to play him in a way that suits his asset. He has a lot of Vardys' attributes, puts in a shift for the 90 mins. Willing to work for the team even when he is on his last legs, he has the mindset to succeed, he just need someone to understand what he is about.
