Will leave us short on experience but the talent might be there with Robinson and Mahmood plus Wood.

Our quicks are dropping like flies atm. Broad, Woakes, Archer, Stone, Anderson (potentially) all out leaves us without a first choice attack. 

 

Anderson less replaceable than Broad too. No other seamer in world cricket has that ability to produce a magic ball out of nowhere.

its going to happen with them two now and why unfortunately its going to be difficult to keep picking both of them. Pace of Wood might not be a bad thing, and I wonder if they'll bring in the spinner. Leach will be fuming when Moeen walks in to the side ahead of him as they'll see the extra batting as a bonus.

Rain stopped play before a ball was even bowled  good old British summertime.

How farcical is it that the players went off for rain at 12.52, but lunch wasn't called until 13.10? Why wasn't lunch taken immediately after going off? They could have been out there again by now, instead we end up with a near 1 hour break essentially for a scheduled 40 minute lunch. Infuriating.

I guess lunch has to be ready before lunch can be called  Probably not sandwiches, sausage rolls and cocktail sausages so had to wait for their posh grub to be ready  

 

I agree though, the flexibility in cricket (or lack of) is ridiculous.
