Tbh though Vaughan isn't the only one with egg on his face here.

Given that the conditions for swing were pretty much perfect yesterday, Jimmy was storming in and the past three times they've come here India have looked as good against the moving ball as me at a beauty contest, it was a safe assumption to predict some carnage.

That it didn't happen was the more unexpected outcome.

@StanSP what's a good score from here for India? What would you be happy with?

I think India will be happy with anything over 410/420 odd and England will be hoping to get them out for under 400.

Edit; I totally misread the score. Knock 30/40 runs off each of those targets.

several close throws his misses by a distance then Hameed nails the stumps from the outfield :crylaugh:

We are very poor at hitting the target from 10-12 metres. Seem to go for power rather than accuracy. Need to have an urgent  rethink re this aspect of the game as it’s costing us.

364 All Out not a bad bowling performance

To be fair good comeback by the bowlers, especially Jimmy, considering they were 267-2.

We're gonna be so boned when Anderson finally decides he's bored of playing.

His fitness, his hunger, his skill, after doing all this for 20 years, it's simply incredible. He's got determination that borders on mental illness. Why would you even want to carry on playing with this team?!

Just seen this. From the position we were in at start of the day it'd definitely have been 400+. Maybe even pushing 450. Rahul getting out very early on after a superb knock yesterday set the tone for the rest of the session.

Virat Kohli has got a touch of the Joe Roots with his poor reviews today.

Awful, arent they! Surely a bowler knows on the balance of probability they're both going down?

Kohli needs to listen to Pant more. Pant tried to stop him reviewing then Kohli had the nerve to have a go at some players after it was wrong, or that's what it looked like.

Frustrating when you lose two in quick succession.
