Was surprised Roach let him face so many balls. 
 

Was genuinely great to see the ground staff there so happy. Particularly given Windies as a test team are firmly on the rebuild and all but abandoned that side of the game until recently.

It's a shame, but you can see why it is that way. Day five is never a guarantee and grounds need to maximise the weekends as best they can.

So true, Anderson, Broad etc are all guilty of this over the years, what I'd give now for a Collingwood type just to amble in and bowl wicket to wicket at these tail enders lol

Frustrating that we're giving away so many runs to tailenders.

Well that's Root now letting India bat on as long as possible to take time out of the game so he can get a draw. 

 

I don't know if Root is negative or he's too easily influenced by the likes of Anderson or whether they have plans from above that they don't deviate from. Not a new problem.

Seemed that we were more interested in bowling short at them in retribution for Bumrah hitting Anderson on the head in our innings than on getting them out with line and length bowling and men round the bat. Ridiculous to allow rabbits like these two to get so many.
