Best January signing ever

Sky sports have been discussing the best January signings, who do you think is ours? Straight away I thought Mahrez but after looking a bit further into who we have signed in the January transfer window I’ve thrown in another 3 possible candidates (no not Gray)

1, Mahrez, easily the most exciting player I’ve seen in a Leicester shirt.

2, Ndidi, when he’s out we miss him just as much as Vardy.

3, Huth, without him I don’t think we would of stayed up.

4, Big Wes, wasn’t the reason we won the league but he was the glue that held it all together.

have I missed anyone?

I wonder if Sky will land on a Man Utd or Liverpool player as the best January signing of all time....

Some folk might scoff but you’re right there’s an extremely strong case for that. Cambiasso also. X

Cambiasso Was signed late August though. This is January window transfers.

Yes but I was replying to someone saying it could be argued that Huth was our best ever signing not just January. I’ll make myself clearer next time sorry. Glad you’re keeping folk right. X

Mahrez for the part he played in the title win

Huth because if not we probably get relegated that season and none of it happens

Ndidi because he's genuinely world class and probably the best at what he does. We'll sell him for a fortune

Morgan as it was a slightly underwhelming signing at the time imo but to go on and achieve what he has with us is nothing short of miraculous. To take him from Forest as well lol

I always think back to the January transfer window that Liverpool signed Andy Carroll and Suarez possibly their best and worst!

Don’t really care about pass signings , would love to see a attacking midfielder come in now , i think if we miss out it will come back and bit us on the arse .

The jan window seems synonymous with signings that aim to change the course of that season. Huth is the only answer here.

Not the best in comparison to the four mentioned, but I think Yakubu was one of the best January signings we ever made.

I would love to say Huth over the snake mahrez, but that would be a lie, Huth was a absolutely crucial signing, but marhez for me pips him, we won a lot of games 1.0 when we won the league, how many of these games did he score or assist? I know there is an argument for Huth to keep our score down to zero to, I just feel without  marhez we wouldn’t of scored as many as we did

Fair point on Mahrez but i think you've probably answered your own question here as we probably wouldn't even have been in the Premier League for Mahrez to make that impact (let alone won it!) if wasnt for the impact that Huth made when we signed him.

"The Great Escape" from relegation really was the start of everything that has followed and if that hadn't happened, we probably wouldnt even be talking about Mahrez, Tielemans, Cambiasso or Ndidi.
