We are scrabbling over an average Championship player and an Arsenal reserve full back.

The sad thing is, I don’t even think we’re scrambling for anyone lol

If we pull this off i’ll finally be able to let go of the pain that Curtis Davis caused me with THAT tweet..

He is Arsenal’s player

they can decide where he gores on loan

if they’ve decided that isn’t here then it matters not what the player wants .........

If he doesn't want to go WBA then he wouldn't. I would imagine he probably favours our club and facilities, but he's probably aware he'll get more game time at WBA.

Then he’ll stay at Arsenal .......

Couldn't have put it any better myself.

Thank fvck this window has been a complete write off for most clubs otherwise tonight could have turned out pretty embarrassing lol

I'm sorry but let me introduce you to proper Championship fodder material.

...I thought the problem was that he wants to play midfield but Arteta wants him to play in defence!!!

You can only surmise that WBA has agreed to play him there but if he wants to play for England surely he would want to play in midfield, his favoured position. If as reported he does not want to play in defence, surely he could have refused the loan.

Arsenal are reported to: a) want to sell him; and b) be insisting that he only plays in defence if he goes on loan.

I doubt both of these are true.

I’m not saying I don’t trust Rudders but I’m worried we end up with Ainsley Harriott.

He’s still better than Chalobah
