Judd creeping back into it.

Better for Selby if Murphy beats him but I'd love to see Judd v Selby over the longest distance with both playing close to their best.

In my head I know its better for Selby if Murphy wins, but I just don't like the guy.

I know what you mean, I'll never forget years ago he turned up on a celebrity quiz show, started spouting quotes from the bible and kept laughing and playing around with his lucky mascot which was a Teddy Bear, since then I've always thought he was a bit of a wrong un.

Fair play tonight though

His personal life section on Wikipedia makes for great reading ;)

Big opportunity for Selby, but also pressure. His style is only an issue when he is playing poorly, not the case so far this tournament. Wilson v Selby final will be a long one though I reckon lol

Murphy and Bingham both capable but have had inconsistent at best seasons.

Murphy does have a dislikable aura about him around the table, with the way he rolls his eyes at everything But actually found him to be ok when I've heard him commentate or do bits for Eurosport.

Talking of Eurosport commentators has anyone heard Anthony Hamilton have a go this year, says some interesting stuff but he doesn't have a great voice for it...He's from Nottingham so all I think when listening is, "is that how I sound on my zoom calls" lol

Also a scratch golfer weirdly.

Don't forget when he shagged an escort in a hotel because he was unhappy in his marriage, and then claimed she was an old friend. Well that makes it alright then!

I thought Shaun Murphy gave up his faith a few years ago.

Some have their fun when younger and find God when older but poor Shaun did it the other way around and annoyed everyone in the process it seems.

You forgot the best quote from that article.

“He’d call me from his hotel room while he was on tour and he would send me saucy pictures of himself”

Selby's safety is out of this world sometimes. I mean he takes 2 minutes over every shot but he grinds like fvck. If he wins this and goes in at 12-12, that will be a great result

Selby really is a tedious watch at times. As soon as he's under any pressure from his opponent playing well he resorts to slowing things down and trying to affect his opponent. I'm loathe to call it gamesmanship, but it's akin to a darts player deliberately slowing down to frustrate a quick player's rhythm.
