'we are big club. We have money. All of it. You don't. Give us your players.' is pretty much what he's saying.

The sheer ****ing arrogance of these people. The same people who have bankrupted themselves by making unsustainable investments. ****ing scum.

Oh it really is. But now isn’t the time for that debate.

I note a little bit of a conflicted tone in most of the Big Sux forums. Most dead against but there are some in there not so opposed.

Every caller on Talksport tonight has been dead against it. Long term Man U and Liverpool fans who are dead against it. 40+ year fans. Know it's not scientific but there again how do we know that all contributers to big 6 forums are genuine fans? These clubs have large PR firms working for them. Call me cynical if you like.

Gary Neville

‘If they announce a letter of intent has been signed they should be punished heavily. Massive fines, points deductions, take their titles off them, who cares. ‘Give the title to Burnley. Give it to Fulham. Let Fulham stay up and relegate United and Liverpool and Arsenal. Because those three are the ones that should suffer most. MORE: MANCHESTER UNITED FC Tottenham sack former Manchester United and Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho Roy Keane reacts to Paul Pogba criticising former Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho Ed Woodward quits UEFA role as Man Utd, Arsenal and Spurs leave European Club Association Chelsea and City, new money in the game, I’m not happy with them either and Tottenham I’m not that bothered about.

The last line :D

They should all be thrown out of the league now. And uefa should award psg the champion league winners.

If they do leave the value of the TV deal decreases, no question about that.

However, on the flip side, clubs will be able to spend less on transfer fees and wages. That's the problem currently, you pretty much have to overspend to compete with richer clubs. If that facility goes you won't need to pay top dollar prices, plus you could probably flog your best players for more to these twats.

No-one might need to pay £30 to watch games as the price will come down. It is all relative, we pay more in ticket prices to pay more to players and managers. It could be better regulated with transfer caps and wage caps.

Look, it isn't straightforward. It will take a lot of effort. Clubs maybe need to start thinking now about the future and cutting costs. But it shouldn't be the end.

How can clubs further down the line cut costs when they have already cut costs to the bone?

Hopefully nobe of the TV companies pick it up to be honest. Then no one can stream it.

But yeah if people choose to watch they shouldn't pay for it.

Jp Morgan must already have a tv deal in place. Works have not got this far without it.

They've invited Arsenal? A team that sits in 9th in their domestic table and celebrates a 97th minute equaliser at home, against a team that has been relegated, like they've won the league?

And Spurs?

The marketeers of this shiny new thing might want to rethink the word "super" in their league name.

It is am about the size of the market and fanbase these clubs have not their current performance.

This one royally pissed me off

It’s really mental. So much of this entertainment is self fulfilling as well. The big games matter - typically at the moment it’s the big clubs in the latter stages of the CL, but if these teams piss off then it will be the better of the teams that are left. If the sky hype machine promoted the other clubs then they’d also get more attention. So much of it is hype, expectation and marketing. Intrinsically there is not a great deal of merit that these clubs are the best to watch.

I’d love it if they just left and people just carried on watching the existing competitions. Sadly it won’t be that simple

it’s interesting that for an emotional subject that effects their fan base and the wider football fan base  like BLM , they’ll wear tshirts and take a knee and be supportive ( and rightly so), but for another emotional subject also effecting the wider football fanbase   ( which coincidentally brings more money into their club and potentially bigger contracts) suddenly it’s not their problem and people are bringing them into it and woe is them...

If nobody can leave, and the PL state clubs can't form their own league or leave the PL without agreement from the board, then what?

they’ll be kicked out of the premier league I’d imagine..
