JimmyC74 Posted 1 September 2022 Posted 1 September 2022 (edited) Brendan Rodgers to @5liveSport: “this isn’t the club that it was 2 years ago. That’s the reality… We haven’t brought any new players in, bar one late on, in the last 2 windows and that’s a replacement. So these players need the supporters. It’s a moment that’s really important” trying to get sacked. Throwing Club under the bus Edited 1 September 2022 by JimmyC74 1

CrispinLA in Texas Posted 1 September 2022 Posted 1 September 2022 When Vardy doesn't want to acknowledge Brendan....you know Brendan's finished here! 2
fox_up_north Posted 1 September 2022 Posted 1 September 2022 After the game, I'd have said keep him til Villa and see if he picks up points but those comments...he should go now

Tielemans63 Posted 1 September 2022 Posted 1 September 2022 ****ing hell. He's actually lost the plot. Literally getting in every excuse under the sun before the inevitable.

Guest Kopfkino Posted 1 September 2022 Posted 1 September 2022 I mean tonight does sound like a man who is going to be leaving. Maybe he was just clinging on to the hope we might sign some players and the club were clinging on that he might show some competence and both parties have given up those hopes.
Sunny0907 Posted 1 September 2022 Posted 1 September 2022 If you actually analyse the game, Luke Thomas was out of his depth today very strange decision to leave castagne out. Maddison on the right wing is completely wasted, that side of the wing was empty as you seen Maddison drifting in and youri filling the void. This is total madness when you have two right wingers on the bench. The structure of the team is wrong when you start playing people out of position week in week out and expecting different results. The subs actually made us look worse. Manchester United where awful today, we couldn’t create one clear chance which is alarming. Tactically he is all over the place, it’s either he’s doing it on purpose or he actually don’t have a clue what he is doing. Playing four central midfielders has left me head scratching to what he is trying to achieve? I honestly believe he is trying to get himself sacked. Any other manager would notice the issues today yet he don’t make the right subs to have more of a shape, eg bringing on Perez or Albrighton taking off kbd, also thomas for castagne. Just don’t get how he couldn’t see them subs at half time would of made a big difference. Rodgers needs to walk
StanSP Posted 1 September 2022 Posted 1 September 2022 I said a couple of weeks ago, before the Stockport game, that he has the Chelsea and Man Utd games to save himself. He's not done that. And I think he knows his time is up.
Thebluefox85 Posted 1 September 2022 Posted 1 September 2022 He’s wanted the sack since before the summer this has gone on far too long board need to step up and get rid 1

Haywood_6 Posted 1 September 2022 Posted 1 September 2022 If Rodgers hasn't got the confidence in the players that are here. Then he needs to go. It's as simple as that
