Think he’ll be gone by the morning.

Remember two years ago when everyone was salivating over our talented young squad, how we would reign supreme for a decade and Rodgers was going to train them all on?

Now he is moaning he can't buy off the shelf talent.

Me too.

I'm off bab-byes now though and hope to read he's gone when I wake-up.

Edit: might check when I get up for my customary 4am pee.

A club like our needs someone who can nurture young talent and make players better. There are some who have improved but so so many more who have massively regressed to essentially becoming worthless for us now. With the FFP wage cap we need to get someone in who will bring that youth through and work to improve the players that we do have. It's clear that this isn't Rodgers.

Beyond caring now, he should have been sacked Forest away last season.

As I said in another thread, I figure their priorities were sorting finances, streamlining, and building those plans for future revenue generation. I wanted him gone then too, but it makes sense not to bring someone in and lie to them at interview that you'll back them in the window if you have no plan to spend cash.

If it’s Uefa’s FFP rules that we’re bothered about complying with (and how ludicrous that looks now) sacking him asap is surely a must.

One because it gets his severance package out of the way so it won’t count towards that and two we can wipe 5m off the wage bill by appointing someone not on a ludicrous wage.

In the BBC interview he keeps mentioning that he wanted two centre halfs to support Wesley.  He's basically saying the board haven't supported him on this

We definitely did need two centre halves. He's not wrong to say he wasn't supported - that's a matter of fact. The problem is that he's showing, very clearly, that he has no idea how to deal with the situation as it is and doesn't appear to want to.

And also if he hadn’t stock piled CM’s, then he could have bought a CB and a winger.

Can't see him staying here much longer. Wanted him gone at the end of last season but was resigned to him staying. After these comments post match he can just **** off now.

In Puel's final run he lost 1-2 to Southampton, 0-1 to Man Utd and had his only signing of a transfer window a Belgian on deadline day. You never know. We might be getting there.

Playing Palace at home next month too
