The only thing Rodgers has got right recently was blaming "the fans". Our weak as piss/happy clapping fan base is a huge reason why we are where we are. This isn't a dig at all our fans as we do have some amazing supporters but the kp does have too many happy clappers now which is why any sort of protest is futile!

He also got right the lack of investment in the team

Just incase anyone forgot, pre WC, most of the clever clogs now on this thread told us all how he’d turned it around. Those that were smart enough to see that it was still a mess were laughed at.

Yeah. Turned it round. Sure.

I think it was obvious to anyone with eyes that we were still seriously in the shit. We were generally outplayed but scored some wonder goals.

Broke or not, if we don't pay him off now we will be utterly bankrupt next season. Could be a hell of a season if us, west ham and Everton all go.....

Well it didn't convince the owners that we were in a fcuking mess either

He's right we need a refresh, and we can argue who's fault that is. But whatever is going on in the background at the club, it has been clear since last summer we didn't have much to spend this season.

You can throw in the injuries (though they do seem to follow him around), but this season was always about survival, yet there's not much sign of motivation, leadership or inspiration to ensure we battle and survive.

Ultimately is it not that we must judge him on here and now?

….and to think I wanted him gone at 300 pages. Time to blame the board now.

I wonder how much Vardy’s goals have been carrying this team over the last 3 years and masking the rest of these players and Rodgers. Without his 20 goals a season plus we look absolutely lost

Really hope he goes in the next couple of hours, I want to open a bottle of something good.

Feels wrong to say, but I would genuinely be excited if he was sacked. Everything feels so depressingly flat with him in charge.

A new manager is exactly what is needed to bring some anticipation and excitement back to the players and fans

Before the end of January, Sean Dyche will be named manager of either us, Everton or West Ham.  That team will stay up.

Don't talk shit

What? Am I wrong in blaming the board and the club?

We could've and probably should've sacked Brendan back in October but didn't, now we're still not sacking him because the stingy ****s in the boardroom think that this way they'll get away with not signing any new players.

Totally agree with this. Reckon Bournemouth will struggle to pull clear from the bottom and it’s prob then between Everton, us , West Ham and Southampton for the other 2 places.
