My concern is its either sack Brendan or sign players. Is our squad, with all the injuries, good enough to stay up?

Has to be both

Yes. If we remove Rodgers from the equation.

Before the end of January, Sean Dyche will be named manager of either us, Everton or West Ham.  That team will stay up.

Get it done Top!

Dyche is garbage

Before anyone jumps on this with something like “how could you bet against your own team?!”… it’s not about wanting it to happen, it’s about using your head and making the most of a situation you have absolutely no control over.

l think that some wrong betting againist your own team, and making money, no matter how you feel, about what is going on at the moment.

He’ll go to West Ham and be a success… for a bit.

I do hope so. The only way I see him going is if he gets another job offer. He's not going to walk and we're not going to sack him.

Is there anyone that can put forward valid arguments for keeping him?

‘Great coach’. Apparently.

Few lads who I know support Chelsea reckon Potter will be given his marching orders after their next game. Would be a good opportunity to boot Rodgers if true?

Out of interest has Rodgers ever been in a relegation battle at the business end of a season? He comfortably kept Swansea up, was mid table with Liverpool and think he got sacked early in the season after a bad start with Watford

I think if none of the players are moved on yes. Not sure when Justin, Evans, KDH and Ricardo are back, add Maddison to that and a reprieve for Soyuncu and I think we have plenty, what’s happened to Bertrand as well, hes surely an improvement on Thomas, I heard he is fit just doesn’t get selected

I maybe being thick here but if he stays and we go down then his reputation has obviously been destroyed too - no chance of a big six job ever then I guess- so he’d be foolish to stay?

Eddie Howe.
