His excuse last night, "we have a small squad".

Take Fulham for example, probably not as much quality as we are supposed to have and a smaller number of "main" players than we have.

I don't think that can be an excuse when every team in the league has a 25 man squad anyway.

I wanted BR out as much as anyone. Then he went on a good run and I could see progress. I’m not about to just change my mind because of 3 poor results with two of those games being decent performances.

You can’t honestly believe that this injury crisis is down to BR, surely? I just can’t get on board with that notion. I would accept that perhaps he’s responsible for assembling a squad of players that are more injury prone than some previous managers. But again, that’s just bad luck.

Our injury record during his reign has been visibly worse than the preceding years.

Brendan has gone back to the sour post Brendan we saw at the start of the season again. The excuses are being warmed up yet again “we’ve got no money”. The longer this man stays at this club the more danger we’re in. I genuinely can’t stand him, what he has achieved means nothing to me, he has torn the life out of the club, and he will destroy us.

When it started very isolated tonight, heard someone say ‘he will go again’. He’s hoodwinked most of the support with the utter nonsense which comes out of his mouth. I heard another defend him tonight because we’ve had a long injury list without ever making the connection that he’s part of that

Lad near me kept saying the same ‘what’s he meant to do when your players get injured just before KO?’ ‘What’s he meant to do when he’s had no money to spend?’ ‘What’s he meant to do when he has so many injuries?’

If he’s still here next season and we somehow survive this one, we’re going down anyway, it’s happening, club is a mess.

In Brendanworld reasons for losing games include  - too hot and squad too small

Coming soon - the grass was the wrong shade of green, the kit was washed with the wrong detergent

It's almost cult like at this stage! I can't believe some still think he's the right man for the job

I’ve reached the point whereby I don’t even care if we start winning and end up mid table, or get relegated.

I just want Rodgers et al gone.
The club stinks at the moment. Top, Rudkin, Whelan - all conspicuous by their absence. Zero accountability for the ridiculous wage bill on bang average players.
It needs rebuilding and freshening up all across the Board. I’ve never felt so far removed from the club as I do at the moment.

to fix the short term problem of winning football games Brendan has got to go!!!! There is no desire in them players at all, Fulham won because they wanted it more than we did. The squad is easily a top 10 squad even with its limitations and a new manager with fresh ideas definitely installs the passion and desire back into the squad i am certain of it. That papers the cracks though with the lack of investment and a huge overhaul of the squad needed, but better than nothing

I feel exactly the same mate. I don't support the current regime so the losses don't even hurt. What does hurt is not getting excited about watching my club play. I'm hoping once he finally does go that the feeling of disconnect isn't still there

I’m not sure the squad is as good as we think it is. Maybe with everyone fit but with that side last night it’s a bottom half side at best if we are honest. We’ve regressed so badly

Even I can barely be arsed slagging him off on here or elsewhere anymore

We’re ****ed and I barely care

He's been here for 3 or 4 years and we've got Danny Ward in goal, Amartey at centre back, not even looking like finding a Vardy replacement and players that looking promising like Ndidi and Barnes look half the players they were

Can't believe I'm saying this, but we need the players to ask him to leave, and if he says no, to refuse to train.

Problem is, for the first time in several managers, they don't look like they want to!

A) Because Kasper isn't here

B) They probably don't really care, just like he doesn't. Youri put in a right shift last night and smiled away at half time because his only goal currently is to impress potential suitors, absolutely nothing to do with whether we win or not.

The issue is the culture that comes with filling a squad with poor players to compete in Europe, and then because the squad quality has regressed we struggle on the field. We then can’t shift the deadwood as we’re paying them too much. You think the likes of Vestergaard et al bring positivity to the culture around the club when they’re not playing?

Then you have odd situations where players have regressed, perhaps because they are starved of game time. Cags is the obvious one, but what about Iheanacho - the poor bloke nearly single handedly saved our season the other year, was top goal scorer and now only gets 15 mins max off the bench. He should be starting ahead of Vardy imo.

The rot is set in and we’re ****ed basically.

This is harsh imo. I feel like Youri has looked like one of the most committed to the cause for some time. Whatever the motives he'd be getting pelters if he'd downed tools

Correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t he saying in the build up to Jan we should have money available to get some new players in and we would try and get business done?

Now he’s saying there’s not a lot of money?
