Popular Post Fox92 Posted 23 April 2022 Author Popular Post Posted 23 April 2022 Most frustrating this is playing Maddison wide again. Taking our most creative player out of his best position. 5

Nod.E Posted 23 April 2022 Posted 23 April 2022 Probably can't sack him for the top line facts. As others have said, it wouldn't play well in the football world and we may struggle to attract a top manager. I hope his card is marked after this season. It probably is. The moment we languish in 15th/16th and suffer another meltdown like the Spurs game, we'll pull the trigger. Potential European glory aside, it's a long and painful wait until that point. I realise how ridiculous that last sentence sounds. Suppose it's worth remembering we were favourites to win the Europa League at the start of the season to add some context.
Popular Post Kilworthfox Posted 23 April 2022 Popular Post Posted 23 April 2022 Villa are a great side with a great history. They have won a European Cup! Delighted with how the boys controlled the game again today. Excellent that they stook to our game plan, it worked perfectly. We are still struggling to compete with the other teams in the division in terms of finances so we will always be up against it, we are just pleased to be playing such great sides as Villa, Everton and Newcastle. I heard 1 or 2 fans shouting some discontented views, but they have just been spoilt in the last 15 years. Brendan needs knighting for doing an amazing job at our provincial club. 🦊👍🏼 1 5
adam Posted 23 April 2022 Posted 23 April 2022 I just wish he had taken the league a bit more seriously. We could and should of won the last three games. If he had we would of been right in with a chance of 7th. 1
LestaAl Posted 23 April 2022 Posted 23 April 2022 …..I’ve gone from BR out to indifference, but it could just be boredom , I’m not sure
Jimmy Posted 23 April 2022 Posted 23 April 2022 (edited) he takes so ****ing long to make changes its annoying. So far nothing has changed my mind, I want a new manager in the summer Edited 23 April 2022 by Jimmy 3
Tielemans63 Posted 23 April 2022 Posted 23 April 2022 I actually think we played some good football away at Newcastle and Everton but we were diabolical today. At the end of the day, 2 points from Newcastle, Everton and Villa is not a good return, especially with what is a very strong squad that many premier league clubs would kill for. I really think he needs that Europa Conference title. 1

CrispinLA in Texas Posted 23 April 2022 Posted 23 April 2022 His post match interviews are repetitive...kind of getting bored listening to the same narrative every game. I can't wait for the future, I wanna see some system... identity now! 1

One who thinks that the best use of the club's money is not to spunk it on hopeless defenders? I don't know, maybe I'm just an irrational idealist who stupidly reckons the money charged for a ticket ought to equate to some enjoyment on matchday. Derby went down to rapturous applause. The fans engaged with their desire to attempt to do something, to affect change on the pitch. Feck I miss following a side that does that. 7 2 1

I'm so conflicted as a fan at the moment. I just want us to be better. The club in the main do a great job... The fist team results need to reflect that.

It is so easy to feel like a change but I can't see a candidate that is an obvious and realistic alternative. I think if Rodgers was at another club having the same season and we had got rid of manager x lots here would say what about that Rodgers bloke.

A manager who wants to challenge himself in the top league in the world with incredible ownership, fans and a talented side. Plus, the ability to remake the squad in their vision this summer. We are not the club we were 10 years ago anymore. 6
