You'd like to think we have a good relationship with the agent given they're currently the agent of current and former players (including Kasper)... for me this is just someone who wanted to know he'd play and we couldn't guarantee that.

No way is someone who has done as much business as that agency has done with our club going to be 'outrageous' in their money demands.

If this is true, I wonder where he'll go for playing time.

We have could arranged a Championship loan. Could a Premier League team give him playing time? Else I suspect Foxy_Bear is right: a bigger name in a smaller league.

Lol, I’m not sure why people are getting so hell-bent about him turning down 22K.

Sancho has just signed for Man U and I’m sure Man City probably offered him bumper wages before he left for first team football.

People want us to go in for Noni Madueke, who left Spurs and turned down a contract from Man U in search of First Team football.

Why do you lot take a young player leaving to try and better himself in search of more first team football so personally? Lol, all people have been moaning about for the past few years, is how poor our U23’s is run.

“I’ve got to question whether this is the type of character we want at this club”

give me one of Sancho, Bellingham or Madueke in a heartbeat

Bugger, there go all my witty terrace song plans.

Good luck Sidnei, you might need it if you think you're going to make more than 22k a week with practically zero senior footy experience.

What did Sancho or Madueke do to earn first team football? Not much, so they left their parent clubs in search of first team football.

We don’t have to give him first team football but he doesn’t have to sign a massive contract either

I have no problem with him leaving to find first team football. It's his decision to make.  I would however be concerned about making a promise to any player about playing time.

No club will guarantee him game time unless he earns it in training. There's no way he wasn't going to be loaned out this season. From his viewpoint it makes more sense to negotiate a similar situation and put more money in his pocket than the clubs. Besides money he'd have more power to set the terms as well. It's about money and control.

Kasper is with luca bascherini, same guy as slimani.

Tavares, Gray, etc all with Pasterella I believe or one of his minions.

I’m guessing he didn’t see a season playing first team football in the Belgian first division as good enough so be interesting to see where he goes next.

Fair play if he wants more playing time, clearly has some arrogance though, if he is not willing to earn a spot and go on loan like everyone else. I believe we offered him a loan but he thought it was beneath him. if he isn't willing to put in the work he wouldn't make it here anyway. I think this will happen a lot more, as we are competing at the the top end. when you are in at the bottom end you don't expect to win as many games so you can risk more academy players and utilise them to plug gaps.  We now have a good strong squad so it's always going to be harder as exceptions are higher.

I honestly think he was on track for the first team. Loan this year and depending on how he does an opportunity to make the step up next year. Same path as KDH. No guarantees for KDH either. It's a confidence game and you have to back yourself.

If true, probably worst thing can be excused of, is some arrogance or maybe not even that. Perhaps just wants to play for a first team as soon as possible, and that won't happen for a top 5 Premier League club anytime soon, especially with the midfielders we have ahead of him.

All theories anyway, but as we don't really know, not sure we can judge his decision too harshly.

So he is looking for another club ,I hope another club comes in for him ,I think it will be a lower league team that would come in for ,but there is no better place than Leicester to improve and become a first team player ,good lock to him ,
