Thanks. For that and the endless supply of info about the club on what seems like a non stop basis.         :appl::scarf:Very much appreciated.

That's what I thought. So he's here to get the full "Rodgers experience" this summer and then we'll see. Being as he's only 19 he'll probably get similar treatment to that of Raheem Sterling when Rodgers was at Liverpool. Had Sterling playing all up and down the LS of the field at different times. Learning the game.

Skies the limit for Soweh depending on how well he does in training. Rodgers usually likes to keep 1st team players around for a year to get used to his training methods and system before he lets anyone out on loan. If he's training with the Under 23's on a regular basis.... Then the moaning can begin.

Something tells me this guy is hungry and is going to make an impact. People need to be patient with young players who are still growing. Who knows what changes the club have planned to improve Soweh to his highest potential. Like with Tielemans. Physically transformed over the past 2 seasons into the Ironman.

He's 21

He's 21, born in 2000 :) So thankfully I don't think he will go anywhere near the Under 23's, he is way above that level now and would be very disappointing for him I am sure

Most likely he will spend pre-season with us and Brendan will probably decide as to whether he can offer us something for the forthcoming season or whether he would be better suited to going out on loan in the Championship/Lower Prem if possible

I personally feel like he will stay with the first team this season and will be on and off the bench (depending on what other players we sign for the attacking positions). With how versatile he is he really could be a useful player to have around the squad, and wouldn't be surprised to see him getting a fair amount of appearances against weaker teams in the league/cups/europa league with the amount of rotation we will probably see

But we have seen what Brendan can do with young players so I think he will get a fair shot next season for sure

Pretty much as we expected, not going back to Leuven on loan, will probably be with us for majority of pre-season before a decision is made on whether to make him part of the squad for the upcoming season or loan him out (I personally hope it is the former)

New plan for Leicester City midfielder as he looks for his 'next challenge'

The Ghanaian will not be returning to City's sister club OH Leuven after three-and-a-half years on loan in Belgium, with this season his breakthrough campaign

Leicester City midfielder Kamal Sowah is ready for his “next challenge” after three-and-a-half years at sister club OH Leuven.

Signed by City from his native Ghana in January 2018, Sowah has spent the past few seasons on loan at King Power-owned Leuven as they have risen the ranks in Belgium.

Last week, Sowah trained with City’s first team at their base at Seagrave as Brendan Rodgers took a closer look at the 21-year-old as he prepares to build his squad for the new campaign.

While a decision is still to be made on Sowah, and whether he will stay at City or go out on loan, he will not be returning to Leuven, where he made great strides this season.

In the club’s first season back in the top flight, Sowah started all 34 of their league matches, scoring eight goals and providing six assists as he played in a range of positions, including central midfield, behind the striker, and out wide.

Sowah said goodbye to Leuven on social media this week: “I’m making this post with strong emotions as I am very grateful for the time that I have spent at OH Leuven. I came here as a boy and I am leaving as a man ready to take on my next challenge.

“Firstly, I want to thank the fans. From the first moment I arrived, even before I played, I felt the support from the stands.

"To my team-mates, it was a pleasure to share the field together and fight for the badge as one. To the coaches, physios and the rest of the backroom staff, thank you for making Leuven feel like home for the past three-and-a-half years.

“I can’t wait to come back and visit my second home. This isn’t goodbye, this is see you later! Thank you and I wish OH Leuven all the best in this next season.”

Describing him as “the man with three lungs”, Leuven wrote their own farewell, which read: “Sowah donned the OH Leuven jersey 72 times and considers the time is right for the next step in his career.

"The club wishes Kamal the best of luck and thanks him for the many beautiful moments.”

Before he starts pre-season with City, Sowah could earn a maiden Ghana cap. He was first called into the squad in March but missed out on an appearance, but could now play as the Black Stars face Morocco and Ivory Coast in friendlies next month.

City defender Daniel Amartey is also in the squad after receiving his first call-up for three years.

Ideal Sowah?? Is this a stitch up?

No but there will be a lot of threads about him before the opposition cotton on to his abilities.

Be interesting to see if he can get himself into the squad . I do feel sorry for the lad ,  he signs for us and goes straight out on loan for  3 seasons must have felt like  he’d never get to Leicester .

Doubt he'll see a loan until January. Rodgers will bed him into the squad  first. Cant imagine him going on loan sooner as that would seem a bad sign.

He had to go out on loan, couldn't get a work visa. Not enough games. That's why OHL was purchased, to blood tallent and u23s

kamal in arabic means perfect, ideal or complete, something like that.

Aight get him in the team and sign Isaac Success to partner with him.

Promote Admiral Muskwe to replace Captain Morgan, and just to top it off get a tune out of Tavares. The terrace banter would write itself for the next decade.

Agree. I'm banking on Rodgers applying his magic to create something with the natural talent Soweh has. We can't afford to buy squad players.

Could be the left footed right winger we are after, seems like he has stepped up his game in the last 12/18 months. Can’t wait for the great uninformed co commentators to say that we have bought him for an undisclosed fee from a Belgian club ...

Very exciiiiite to see what Rodgers can do with Sowah. He's our wildcard for next season.

Some really intelligent stuff in those clips.

Reminds me of Raphinha of Leeds. Don't stop running and has the tricks and ability to back it up. Let's hope he can find consistency at our level.

Looks a better prospect at 10 than Perez tbf

I think you'd look better than Perez at 10 unless we figure out how to use the bloke properly. :D

I'm not convinced there is a way of playing him properly as a 10 in this 352.

Its vital that someone playing there can kill a ball reliably with their back to goal, turn on it and get forward momentum.

Madders gets some wickedly unfair pelters from idiots on here but he's sensational with his first touch and a turn. Perez is dreadful. He needs acres of space to be trusted to get the ball under control and turn with it. Even Okazaki was world class at that control and turn compared to Perez.

He must have the worst ball control of any Spanish forward to play in the Premier League.

That 10 position will be so swamped and pressured if we're going to play 352, half our attack will be shut down if we can't operate quickly there.

We need to bin 352. An option only but should not be our main formation. We had what, 2 or 3 decent results playing it?  Might have been all we could do with the injuries, but if we line up like that again I’m going to be miffed.
